If you look up abuse of power it will probably say BILL CLINTON!!! Never the less this is a site about Kerry and his suitability for office NOT GW BUSH. Don't let the trolls get this started again, debating and attacking Bush to get the focus off of Kerry. Semper Fi.

I think the President will win, but I think it will be close - maybe as close as 2000.

The constant doom and gloom and negative reporting about this President may convince a lot of people that it's not worth voting - that Kerry's got it in the bag.

On the other hand, the 2000 election may still be fresh enough in peoples' minds that they'll realize that their vote CAN make a difference.

And maybe, just maybe... people will get pi***ed off enough to get off their duffs and go vote in protest of the drubbing this honorable and courageous man has taken at the hands of the pundits. Maybe enough people will stir themselves out of their apathy to counteract the dead people and winos that the Democrats will be rounding up in droves on election day. Wink

We've got less than five months to convince those who are undecided, to tell them why President Bush is the best choice for the security and well-being of our country and the safety of the next generation.

Less than five months to get the word out to our younger brothers and sisters in arms what a traitor Kerry is to this country and to all military people.

Most of them don't know - but military people are not apathetic in matters of honor and integrity and duty. When they DO know, they CARE.

Pass the word along to any young military people you know. Telling just one person can spread like ripples on a pond.

Help them get info for obtaining absentee ballots, help them get registered to vote. If you write to soldiers overseas and know their home of record, you can print off both a voter registration and a request for absentee ballot right off of the georgewbush.com web site and mail it to them with pre-addressed stamped envelopes, so all they have to do is fill them out and mail them. Make this military vote count! Smile

I would say the hatred of Kerry is on par with the hatred of Bush, not only in quantity, but in intensity. As of now, on negatives, it is a toss up in spite of the media bashing of Bush, and Iraq scandal, and Economy, and 911 Commission, and the onslaught of liberal books, etc etc. Liberals know that negative EVENTS influence a negative attitude in the masses. They will continue their version of negative campaigning via twisting EVENTS.

From my experiences, most of the superficial masses who do not follow the public debate turn out to vote "against", more than "for". Discontent, anger and hate motivates more to the polls, than hope or understanding. And a good blizzard or lousy weather on that day will keep these luke warm type from the polls. Turnout is essential for the liberals, and they know it. So, let us pray for bad weather, so that only the self-determined will risk life and bear the discomfort to get to the polls.

History shows that negatvie ads work in the main 5 o'clock sound bite media. The 2004 results will depend upon how many are "against Kerry", than about "for Bush". This vet and Vietnam blog forum is more "against Kerry", for good reason, than it is "for Bush".

As in the last Presidential election, the liberals will run around those dozen high population counties in the country, in buses, rounding up the homeless, sometimes paying $5 to vote their way, and taking them to the polls. They will file lawsuits to keep the polls open longer so that sweeping the streets can continue down to the last warm body. This was caught on camera in Wisconsin. Each of these counties will be staffed with armies of lawyers, ready to file a lawsuit over every error of the illiterate who screws up the ballet. As you see with the headhunters, the power of hate is more intense than the sentiment of love. The drumbeat of the media and the liberals to hate Bush will intensify in weeks to come.

old kayaker, is there anything else you can focus on besides our President and Iraq. Your obsession with making President Bush look like a fool and projecting yourself as some sort of intellectual giant walking amongst us peons is truly annoying. There is a lot of good about President Bush, But over and over we read about the same old tired arguments, Bush this, Iraq that. Maybe the fact our President is a man of courage and fortitude disturbs you. Who knows, why people spend so much time and effort running down our President and the military men and women whom serve this country is beyond me.

As I posted several weeks back " good news is on the way " and it is. The economy is getting stronger, stock market is ready for a summer rally and gasoline prices are falling. Just yesterday in Olney, Md. price for unleaded regular was a $1.83 a gallon which is the first time I have seen under $2.00 gas in months around here. Has anyone spotted these trends in their part of the country? Good news will finally overwhelm Kerry but the liberals will try for another scandal when the Valerie Plame indictments come down so be ready.

Another reason why I think President Bush will be reelected rather easily in November:

If you listened to Senator Zell Miller today (6/23) on Sean Hannity's radio show, it gives a good insight as to what HONEST Democrats think about the President.

Sen. Zell's comments about President Bush were absolutely GLOWING. And it was clear that he cannot stand Kerry or his methods.

Kerry says he "doesn't need to win the South" to win in November, but he's wrong. He's more than likely going to pick Edwards to be his VP candidate, because someone on his staff will have talked some sense into Kerry's egomaniacal head - that the South is critical to a win for the Dems in November. But Edwards is a lightweight. He barely won his own Senate seat (his first run at it) and he's "retiring" from the Senate, but insiders say it's because he knows he'll be defeated.

In the primaries, Edwards was the odds-on favorite to win the South Carolina primary (Edwards, remember, is from North Carolina). Guess what? He BARELY won that (28 delegates to Kerry's 23), and soon after dropped out of the race. In fact, he barely won his own home state of NC - just 7 delegates to Kerry's 6.

Edwards will bring next to nothing to the Kerry ticket.
