Absolutely! From Normandy, Holland, Bastogne, Germany, Vietnam, Iraq x 2, Afgahnistan, they have been there and done that!
I still love my 82d Abn, but the 101st is amongst the finest Fighting Units of all! _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |

I watched and was soooo proud of this young man...he answered
calmly, politely and definitively....sooo proud! _________________ “In the beginning of a change the patriot is a

Huh. My brother spent four years on a fast attack (USS Houston), and for my money, submariners are as nuts as the guys jumping out of perfectly good airplanes! |

Don't know who would be crazier....Jumping out of perfectly good airplanes or playing in a bubble.
Guess I should not say anything. When I was trying to enlist I went through the whole gammit. But unfortunately only having one eye I could not get into any branch of service. I would of even shoveled shite if that would have worked. |

Did any of you ever see a "perfectly good airplane"? We're the smart ones, we get out before the wings come off. |

I salute that young man for the courage to go on national TV and tell the truth. I also hold him in high regard for having the intestinal fortitude to not let that freak Coombs get to him.
I am in awe of our wonderful military folks. May God bless and keep them safe from harm. _________________ ADC USN Ret.

I missed it. I wish I would have gotten to see it.
I'm am very proud of our military and they represent us so well. So many have emailed and spoken up to defend their honor and ours as a nation. God bless them. |
