NBC National News Tom Brokaw mentions to Kerry that the military records show that George Bush has a higher IQ. Kerry states he doesn’t know how they did that because his records aren’t out in public!

Thanks. Now go post the same message on http://www2.swiftvets.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14007
and give the topic a bump.

I keep hearing echos of this story.

I predict people will accept it more after the election.

actually, that 115 was what his IQ was nearly 38 years ago when he was at his youthful peak.
He isn't showing any of that now. Actually he isn't showing anymore now than any other parrot.

That isn't very high. Since that was in the 60's and he hasn't used his brain for years it's gotta be around the same as a not very bright cat or dog by now.

The same guy that has been lying through his teeth saying that all of his records were available for public viewing on his website has just said, "I don't know where they got that from. My records are not public."

WHAT? You mean you didn't sign the form 180 releasing ALL your military records? YOU DON'T SAY!

Apparently the senator was so rattled by the question put to him by Tom Brokaw regarding President Bush's IQ having been determined to be higher than his own. (see story) Mr. Brokaw, being a professional main stream journalist chose not to notice the contradiction. (I'm Shocked. Shocked.)

My records were released before they weren't released. We get it.

He really did look shaken. I think that little tidbit is going to play havoc with his narcissistic personality disorder.

What's that you say?

Narcissistic Personality Disorder - Diagnostic Criteria

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
2. is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
3. believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
4. requires excessive admiration
5. has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
6. is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
7. lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
8. is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her

Shocked

Mine floats between 131 and 142 depending on what test I take Embarassed

Funny thing is...IQ only shows the POTENTIAL of the person, its how they apply it that is the key. That follows the "pattern" of their thinking, not raw ability.

Is anyone familar with the pictoral thinking pattterns? IE - - - - notes linear thinking, sunburst pattern is creative, - __ - is intuitive (Where you jump from thought to conclusion based on information you haven't processed yet) I haven't gone over this in a LONG time, so I'm a bit rusty and might have the name of the patterns wrong but the base of it is still the same.

I get the feeling Kerry is a linear thinker, he has to pass through step 1 to get to 2 to get to 3 and so on. That is why he gets bogged down so much, he can't "jump" his thinking by either being able to think of many things at once (sunburst) or have a hunch that proves right (intuitive).

Just an odd thought, since the thread was on IQ and such Very Happy

Does anyone think this is a very important point? Kerry has stated that his records have been released (snowing all of the kool-aid drinkers) but leaving those who really want to peruse them in the cold...

Heck, maybe Imus would be pissed that he was lied to...

I'm e-mailing him...
