| I suggest people read a thread posted here at Geedunk called "Al Qaeda's Plan for Chaos in America" it contains an article by Whalid Phares. Al Qaeda does not want Bush re-elected because it's the end for them. It looks like Bush will be re-elected which is what must have induced Osama to come out of hiding. |

If you want the translation, just find a copy of the Kerry campaign's talking points on the war on terror.
As far as I'm concerned "don't re-elect Bush" = "Elect Kerry". Sounds like a Kerry endorsement to me...

| This puts the Kerry camp in quite a quandry. How do they criticize W without looking like they agree with UBL and how can they denounce the tape without looking they supporting W. They cant afford to sit on sidelines because this will suck up valuable air time and make Kerry look like a waif compared to Bush. Furthermore, it is inevitable that reporters will ask the camp about the tape. Have fun squirming Tad. |

| As an exception to my personal rule to avoid the alphabet channels and such as CNN, I was channel hopping shortly after 4 EDT, and CNN was running the OBL tape on live feed from Al-Jazeera and Octavia Nasr was giving live on-going interpretation. The whole thing is out there, if there was a hidden message, it's loose. FNC wasn't doing much except Cavuto occasionally reading a note or two about the tape. My reading is that OBL was trying to cow the American people into isolationism, a pullback from world politics and a retrenchment behind our two oceans. Not going to happen. My read is that this is more of a help to the President than it is to the Traitor. |

I haven't seen the tape yet, but the first thing I noticed from the stills is that it's the first tape where he isn't either standing or sitting cross-legged on the ground.
I wonder if he still has his legs? |
