He's hiding the truth. Truth will bury him and he knows it. Even if he signed SF180 (which we know he won't) could not get documents released by election day.

I don't think it would take too long to find them. The Navy says there's over 100 pages so they must know where they're at. Very Happy

To much to hope for that he would sign SF180 at this late date. He feels he has beat that issue.

Because we have been like sheep for far toooo long.

Because he was elected a long time ago (riding on his record) and very few people cared to ask questions (I was pretty young, but I have a "sense" memory of society being tired). Tired of the war, tired of the anti-war people, tired of the pain.... Watergate comes along and ties us all in knots again.

Because he was elected in liberal Massachusetts - and he helped to make it more liberal.

Because he was cunning enough to keep a fairly low legislative profile.

For a thousand reasons....

And let it be a lesson for all of us.

I agree completely. However, even though you writers have been far ahead of this old reader for several weeks now, I found another gem. Following Patterson's thread, I read Metcalf's column and found two paragraphs to be particularly revealing and suggestive.

Geoff Metcalf wrote:
... America faces a critical choice: The Bush Doctrine of pre-emption vs. The Kerry ‘Plan’ of appeasement, U.N. ‘approval’ and response. Once upon a time long ago and far away (in 1389) the Ottoman Turks were rolling across Europe. They crushed everything and anyone in their path. It was a religious war. Anyone failing to convert to Islam was doomed....

I love dogs. I like most dogs better than most people. But if a rabid dog threatens my family I will kill it. I won’t try to pet it, train it, or feed it. I will kill it. The current crusade that no one dare acknowledge presents a dogma that cannot be accommodated, appeased, OR negotiated. The only solution is a campaign of annihilation....

The path is clearly marked but first, we have an election.

I highly recommend every one here read both of Lt. Patterson's books: Dereliciton of Duty and Reckless Disregard. Both will help you understand how we got hit on 9/11. Your eyes will be opened about Bill Clinton and really get you fired up about bringing down Hillary!
Keep these in mind for after Nov. 3.

Read Reckless Disregard and it was a real eye opener.
