The Swifties and conservative radio personalities like Ingraham, Limbaugh, Hannity and others have done a great job of telling/exposing truth, but what good is it when you are preaching to the choir?
The MSM is a giant barrier to the truth! It pains me each day to see Kerry Kerry Kerry is so great, and Bush must be defeated "news". It seems so hopeless.

That's why I wonder that a lot of people are beginning to think the 'dish' or cable were just one big 'rip-off'. You get the spin from the LM - the leftwing 'mainstream'. Don't just confine it to network news.
Could you imagine a time, however, when the alphab's divest or close their news divisions, and there are no more 'nightly news', with the strings or fanfare or whatever is preferred? Just C-SPAN, CNN (which is no improvement), FOX, and whatever else?
Remember that the LM were STUNNED that so many knew of the Swifties and their campaign when the LM had conspired systematically to omit any references. Yet somehow, people knew about it.
This is a different world. The LM are still making the rules, but for fewer people - for their own audience. Don't fret that talk radio and 'bloggers' reach out to mainstream Americans. So be it. Remember that the LM is preaching to the choir, as well. And it's getting small by the day. |

Maybe it's me. Maybe I live my life in denial. Maybe I am just a hopeless optimist. But I really don't live or die by the polls or by another person's opinion. Zogby? Dick Morris?
Who? They say Bush is gonna win. <yawn> They say Kerry will win. <yawn>
Shheeee---itttt....your scared, Susan? I have two kids in Iraq. Yesterday I am walking through the study just in time to hear "Two soldiers were killed in Iraq today, one in Baghdad, one about 40 miles north of Baghdad" They completed this little report by showing a burning humvee.
Last I heard my son was running patrols about 40 miles north of Baghdad. In a humvee. Life is scary. It is full of unknowns. It is risky.
So I am not dissin' on you, honest. I understand. But shake it off, girlfriend. We have work to do.
Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle.
The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.

Thanks for all the encouragement and on my way to work today I was thinking....
<i>I think I'm scared, what about all those service men/women in Iraq...and their families here. I was thinking about all the Swifties and POWs who have way more vested in the outcome of this election. I can't even begin to imagine their frustration!</i> So I say a quick prayer for all of you!
I was having a down moment, but then I went to work where a young associate of mine said "I voted today, for the very first time! I voted for Bush!"
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
I have another person on staff that is adamantly opposed to Bush because of that stupid Farenheit 9/11! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I told her to be fair she needs to watch Farenhype, Celsius 41.1 and Stolen Honor, but I don't think she will. It's driving me crazy that people are so blind and are happy being that way! ugh!
Heard a quote that applies here "Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is forever."
Good news though, that one young person who looks to me as a sort of "mentor" voted Bush today! YAY! |
