Heavy early turnout in W. KY. May be partially due to marriage amendment on the ballot, so that's encouraging -- sort of counters all the uninformed voters I've been talking to...

Are marriage amendments on the ballot in any swing states? Could be helpful...

A marriage amendment is on the ballot in Ohio and a lot of churches addressed this Sunday. Don't forget that Right to Life and Citizens for Community Values started in Ohio.

Marriage, lottery and gambling issues on are ballot in Oklahoma.. and I think one county will finally vote on "liquor by the drink" .

The state will go to Bush (about 60%), but we have a real nasty senate race going on here.

There is a total of 14 states with a gay marriage ban admendment going on this election. I can't remember all of them but here is a list of the ones I remember. Hopefully it will be just like the Missouri vote during the Primaries they had more voters turnout for that than most presidential elections Laughing

Here are the states I remember.

Hawii, Michigan, LA, Ohio, Oregon and Maine. I could not find the rest of them.

Voters in eleven more states face gay-marriage amendments when they go to the polls Nov. 2: Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon and Utah.

You don't have to check us here in Massachusetts. We already have it.

The state Supreme Court shoved it down our throats, so to speak.

Kerry's against it, unless he's for it. He goes both ways.
