Zogby's poll is crap--isn't his brother a known partisan? If Bush's internals were bad the campaign would be sweating. They are not. In fact they are saying their internals are much better than 2000. Plus Bush will get a true showing in Florida this time.

and don't forget that all the MSM and the Kerry operatives are in on the plan to make it SEEM like the race is close close close or that Kerry is slightly in the lead because the plan is for Kerry to declare victory no matter what the outcome....they can't do that if they tell the truth that Bush is leading or pulling away.

Don't trust the MSM and don't trust anything even remotely associated with the Dems. They have a plan and they are carrying it out. Let's not buy into it.

Bush is going to win in a landslide. I've been saying this for weeks and it still holds.

Everyone, also remember how good Bush's internal numbers were from just two days ago from CBS/NYT no less.

War on Terror, he led by like 20 pts.
War in Iraq, he again led by 10 pts.
Even on the economy he was nearly tied with Kerry.
Job Approval, he was at 53%.

These are not the numbers of a losing candidate. I think that once the actual votes are tallied it's going to quickly settle into a 52ish/48ish tilt to Bush, and he'll win by a small but solid number in Ohio and Florida once all the early voter/absentee ballots are counted.

I voted at 6:20 AM this morning, just because I didn't want to be thinking about it all day while at work. Course, I should have worked later and not came home until the polls start closing. I could have sworn there was a moratorium on reporting 'results' until the polls closed.

Kat, who is panicky? The exit polls reflect the dynamic that Republicans usually do better later in the day. The drift is in the right direction. Compare the early and late numbers:

PA Kerry +2-4 was +20 earlier
OH Kerry +1 -- was +4
MI Kerry +2 -- was +4
FL Kerry +1 -- was +3
NH Kerry +4 -- was +16

Hope this trend continues...

LOL You all on the west coast of the USA have a long time to wait. I'm going to check out the general chat area then come back here as soon as we have something definite to report from the east coast (EST zone). Hubby has poll results set for other computer.

Those exit polls--GOOD GRIEF!!! Those same exit polls showed Gore +6 in FL when it was really tied!!! So, if history repeats itself, it's Bush +4 in Florida.

Guess what...those exit polls don't take into account early voters, absentee military voters (75% for Bush) and people in rural areas, who vote more Republican. Let's wait for the hard numbers, and anybody who hasn't voted must get to the polls!
