My father was in Vietnam, and I grew up wondering why all the Hollywood portrayals of Vietnam vets were so different from the man I know.

Now I know that I was lied to, that the vast majority of Vietnam veterans served bravely and honorably. I know now that a number of lesser men lied about the Vietnam veterans' service for political gain.

Thank you for setting the record straight, and for keeping the most powerful office in the world from the hands of one of these lesser men.
