A big hearty thanks to you guys - you guys truly deserved this sweet victory. He had it coming all these years . . . I know it was not easy to wait all those years, and to put up with the indignity of being ingored by the MSM and vilified at every turn. You guys are true heroes in my eyes!!!

Thank you so much!! It took a lot of guts to take on Kerry, the Democrats, AND the media, but you did it. The media vilified you guys at every turn, but we believed in you, and a lot of America believed in you.

Already pundits are talking about how it was the Swift Boat Veterans who helped turn the tide against Kerry. Your story and commercials carried the day. Thanks for your service all those years ago, and thanks for having the courage and fortitude to stick with it and get the TRUTH out about John Kerry! You guys were, and still are, in all of our thoughts and prayers. Very Happy

I wish I knew by name... Very Happy

I would like to extend my thanks to all of you as well. I was born in 1970, so never appreciated the sacrifices all of you made in my name until I listened to your story, saw your commercials, purchased your book, sent money (first time for me) and listened to other Vietnam Veterans speak out. You spoke for not only yourselves, but for those brave men who never made it home.

I grew up not understanding any of it because my stepdad served in the Navy in the war, and my mother was a flower child - against it but never in words to me. A grandfather who served in the US Navy in Korea. An uncle who served in the USMC. Those men who I knew already had my love... and because of them the military as a whole had earned my admiration.

It is the actions of individual men like you who helped earn my unshakable respect and loyalty. I found myself in this War on Terror adopting a total of 6 of our soldiers and sailors in Iraq and Afghanistan. I did it for many reasons - the most prescient one being I didn't want them to ever harbor the belief that their fight was not appreciated. That they would face the same ignorance, hatred, disrespect when they returned to their homes.

John O'Neill I was just one of the people in this country who found themselves watching channels I never seriously tuned into before (CSPAN, MSNBC, Nightline) just to hear you speak. You helped me put faces to history and for that I will be forever grateful... and forever changed.

NavyChief, I watched as you labored day after day to undo the damage a single man did to thousands and thousands - who many wished to forget.

I have many more words I cannot properly express to all of you. The hundreds of you who appealed to me - someone who wasn't there, didn't understand... to just... listen.

Thank you from my heart and soul. I can look at my baby daughter now and know that because of the actions of all of you - the bravest men I have ever seen - she is safer today.

If it was not for all of you fighting another war - another battle many of you may have not wished to fight - we may be facing a future of not just uncertainty, but feeling as if we were being led by a man without a soul.

To those men who came to fight this new battle, but had misgivings that perhaps it was best left alone - Thank you. We needed to hear you. We needed to see you. We needed to know you.

You will never be forgotten again.

God Bless all of you.

Genevieve
