"Swift Vets for Truth" is the actual name. And it is obvious what you meant with the "cute" comment, but you would need "intellectual honesty" to admit that. |

mikest,
I've read this entire thread, and I can't find a single instance where you could show that the Republican party, as opposed to individual Republican politicians and pundits, endorsed a scurrilous attack on a Democrat.
Your thesis that the Democrats (as a party) are simply responding to prior Republican bad behavior (as a party) is sinking rapidly.
I suggest you abandon ship, launch the Givens raft, and fire up the EPIRB. _________________ Bye bye, Boston Straggler! |

And let's hope he doesn't have a 406 mhz EPIRB! _________________ On Sale! Order in lots of 100 now at velero@rcn.com Free for the cost of shipping All profits (if any, especially now) go to Swiftvets. The author of "Sink Kerry Swiftly" ---ASPB |

All during the 2000 Republican SC Primary, in rally after rally. In that case it was directed at McCain, and it's the reason he can't stand him.

Doug,
I guess you haven't seen McCain's "Ist Choice" ad from Bush/Cheney. Competiton in politics does not necessarily mean a difference in political philosophy. Yes, that's Ok for both parties to do but it doesn't protect them from us pointing out the specific contradictions in the their statements withing, oh say, the last six months instead of harking* back 4 years.
* Quote: | 1 : to pay close attention : LISTEN <when ... some far cry came faintly through the wooded hills I have seen him lift his hand and bid us hark -- Irving Bacheller> -- often used with to <only natural for them to hark to him -- G.G.Black> |
BTW, if Bush wins in November, McCain will be my candidate in '08, unless Condi Rice runs, and I'll bet you he'll be Dubya's too.
Jeez, does supporting Condi make me a feminist leftist and a egalitarian collectivist?
Here's the link to "First Choice":

Having read miketst's replies and his failure to cite any situations as specified in the challenge, I can only deduce that he is a troll. (Correct me if I'm wrong but Sen. Byrd is not a candidate and Clinton is out of office).
Yes, there is high ground and miketst's failure to find even one instance as mentioned in the challenge shows it. "*******" and noting Byrd's past affiliations come no where near the endorsed moral turpitude and lack of integrity that the Democrat party demonstrated in NYC. |

Goophy,
By Troll standards Mikest is moderate, at least so far. I personally think he's spent too much time being indoctrinated and deceived by totalitarians in Democratic Party rags. Our mission should be re-educating him without a trip to the camps in Vietnam and Cambodia that Lurch Kerry has denied (even with hindsight) would ever exist. _________________ On Sale! While I find the discussion in this thread interesting, what I find MOST interesting is that Kerry's Cowards won't release the tape.
It must be worse on tape than it could be represented in print.
It's too bad when the actions and words of some of your main supporters can't be seen by the public at large.
Since Kerry believes their views are sooooo main stream (heart and soul of America), why is he ashamed of them? _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |

Crying because you are treated in the same fasion you have been treating the opposition for so many years is pathetic. |
Dear Mikest,
The problem is not what was done. It is that the dems are acting like little children with hands caught in the cookie jar.
Why are they conceling and censoring this performance? Why don't they release this performance to all the world and embrace the Diversity of Opinion it represents?

That, Carpro, is exactly the point. The voices and images of "heart and soul of the American values" is being denied to the American people by the Kerry campaign. Kinda sounds like totalitarian censorship, doesn't it?
And then they claim that Dubya's administration is secretive!

C'mon carpro! John Kerry may be able to define "ashamed," but he can't be it. He's doing the same thing he did over thirty years ago - and still does - letting baseless hate-speech work for his personal political ambitions.
Of course, you might have been sarcastic, there... _________________ Bye bye, Boston Straggler! |
