The Left have a faulty ability to make comparisons. For example, egregiously and salaciously lumped into the category of "same things" are Hitler's mass murders and barbarities on the one hand; and George Bush's liberation of 25,000,000 Iraqis from Saddam Hussein on the other.
And Abu Ghraib prison humiliation by a small group of miscreants - discovered, revealed to the press and dealt with by the military itself - on the one hand, with Hussein's slicing out of tongues, chopping off of limbs, rape of women in front of their children, and murder - as State Policy - on the other. And on and on.
Comparisons made by the Left will necessarily lack nuance and substantive analysis of details, and this is often done deliberately to advance their agenda. Readers, when you see Democrats make comparisons of anything, engage your Bullsh*t Shields and Prepare for Incoming.

I should point out that, being relativists, Leftists do not believe in an objective moral "High Ground", only the ground that allows them to achieve their agenda.
For example, GWB's saving of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men, women and especially children from horrible deaths every year is irrelevant in their political calculus.
Such beliefs really sit badly in the guts of those who adhere to our Western culture.

Moderate troll, you must have missed the episode when he attacked my Marine son and called his mother B**tch. My son still would like an apology in person. He is a troll and can't back his play with facts. To even come on here and defend Kerry's actions in NYC speaks volumes. Semper Fi.

Why is it that most "progressives" in democratic rags have to shout "lie" every time they're requested to provide facts to support their arguments?

I guess you haven't seen McCain's "Ist Choice" ad from Bush/Cheney. Competiton in politics does not necessarily mean a difference in political philosophy. Yes, that's Ok for both parties to do but it doesn't protect them from us pointing out the specific contradictions in the their statements withing, oh say, the last six months instead of harking* back 4 years.

OK, I admit it. I don't really care what McCain thinks about Bush. He has his own agenda, too. And...he's not running for President.
You're right, Scott. I should never use "Kerry" and "ashamed" in the same sentence. He's very calculating and he's not releasing the tapes because he thinks they would damage him in some way. Yet they reflect our "values".
I will say this though. It's the first time in my memory that a candidate for President does not want "hollywood celebrities support" to be made as public as possible.
Real cute about the fire, Mike. That's akin to Hillary and "How'd those documents get there?  Some of Kerry's records seem to have disappeared, too. Fire?

What I meant was that he didn't do a commercial just for the campaign, and just let them (hmmm, I assume he let them) use the footage from that introduction.

Everyone on here saw your posts, I would ask Navy, Marine wife, Lew and a few others to verify your remarks on that thread as some of them sent you PM's addressing your denigrading remarks towards women.
