I found this interesting dialogue. I read an article about a German sociologist, Werner Sombart who wrote in 1906, "on rafts of beef and apple pie socialist utopias of every description go down to destruction".

I wanted to find out more about this and found this dialogue.

So what do you all think? Will socialism ever take over here like in Europe?

Socialism robs people of their incentive to work to improve their position. All receive what the government says you merit, regardless of whether you work or not. This alone condemns it as workmanship drops and if you don't advance in life, taxes don't either. Sooner or later, the government goes broke trying to get taxes from there is no real revenue.

Europe will discover that too, just as the USSR did.

And by forced... I mean 'work or die,' not totally unlike p.diddy's 'vote or die' campaign.

I think the current election results prove that the US is resisting anything that sounds remotely like socialism.

That's why the founding fathers put in the 2nd Amendment. They knew that within each society there are subversives. Those who would put others in slavery to the state, if possible. They also knew that those types of people migrate into positions of influence...ie the MSM and politics, thereby controlling the flow of information and the policies of a nation.

When these subversives reach a point of power and influence and attempt this type of a coup, the armed populace are supposed to rise up and say "hell no", and put them back in their place, thereby protecting democracy. Without the arming of the people, these socialists, communists etc, would have no resistance since the people would have no voice.

In this election we saw the armed populace rise up, but not with guns, with our vote. Guns weren't needed.....THIS TIME. THe vote was enough. THIS TIME. But if the socialists aren't dealt with soon.....there will come a day when the vote will not be enough.

Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.
