Why don't you quit dicking around with us. If you want to know exactly what Kerry said here's the Congressional Record of his testimony.

You'll also find the complete text of the Kerry/O'Neill debate at the same site www.wintersoldier.com _________________ On Sale! rbshirley; I've seen that kerry quote your noted [i note you didn't include the full quote "They told the stories at times they had personally raped..."]. He was apparently referring to testimony from the winter soldier thing. The way I read it was he wasn't neccessarily adopting those words as his, but relating what took place in detroit. maybe i'm wrong.
the way i take most of this is that kerry was opposed to the war and opposed the govenment carrying it out. I don't see where he says he opposes or condems the foot soldiers. Again, I may be wrong. I've just spent a few days looking at this stuff and don't know enough to say for sure. |
That's right. He repeated a lot of testimony without verifying any of it or vetting personally the people that said it. He also made it clear that these acts were all-encompassing and ALL took part in one way or another.
I can't believe you have read his testimony and can't connect the dots.
I hope he proves me wrong, but he's not off to a good start. _________________ "If he believes his 1971 indictment of his country and his fellow veterans was true, then he couldn't possibly be proud of his Vietnam service." |
