Please do not confuse the left coast with the blue areas like Frisco, LA, Portland, and Seattle. If you look at red v blue out here you will see that unfortunately the hiigher poulated areas are blue but the majority of the physical counties are red

If it were not for Eugene and Portland - Oregon is red red red

Yeah, I have to laugh. I live here in Alameda County (heavily blue), and damn near choke with laughter at some of the "moonbat" letters to the editor in the local fishwrap.

There are 58 counties in California, and 38 are RED. But the moonbats want to talk "secession", forgetting that the RED counties produce most of the food, have ALL of the water, and (except for the city-bound gang-bangers) nearly all of the guns.

What a lot of people don't know is you can't get a CCW permit in SF. Only 3 people have them, Senator Diane Fienstein, her husband and a retired police chief.

Even if these pass this ban, you can't get a permit to carry one unless you are one of three people noted above.

Senator Fienstein has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, as well as her hubby?

What kind of hypocrisy is that?

Keep in mind that Feinstein is the sane one of California's two senators. Can you imagine Barbara Moonbat carrying a weapon?

If I wasn't in a solidly RED part of the state I think I would have to move.

But hey, if the people in Frisco want to ban all weapons it will just encourage all the crooks to go there for the easy pickings. Works for me.

I think Barbara carries an AK-47 out in the open doesn't she, to show a unanimity with her fellow Socialist Party Comrades around the world?

Cool Cool Cool

Same issue in Oregon. Most of Oregon geographically is red. If you removed three cities, Portland, Eugene, and Corvalis, we would be a red state. Eugene and Corvalis are the homes of the University of Oregon and Oregon State Univerisity. Then you have the People's Republic of Portland.

I agree, the ultimate hypocrisy! But it's true!!

Here's a link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dianne_Feinstein

Feinstein is a strong proponent of gun control, yet is known to have carried concealed handguns herself with a normally hard-to-obtain California carry permit - few people, other than politicians and celebrities, are able to obtain California CCW permits. At one time, she was the only person in San Francisco to possess a conceal-carry permit

I applied for a CCW permit and, shock, got one! I live in a red county though. You have to have a reason to carry as well. You can't just say I want one for self-defense. During the CCW class, our teacher told us about Feinstein, her husband and the retired police chief having the CCW permit. They are the only ones allowed to have a CCW permit in San Francisco and NOBODY else.
