Rather was on Letterman last night. Geez, the guy is still in denial, claiming that 4 million was spent on the investigation and it could not be proven that the documents were forgeries.

It's hard to accept that Dan didn't get slapped harder on this "investigation". Afterall, it was his face that tried to sell it to us and then tried even hard to cover up the whole scam with his "unimpeachable sourse" crap.

I'm going to a Republican Party 'Bye Bye Rather' happy hour on the 9th - It's in the bar of a restaurant. A few hundered folks watching and laughing at the last broadcast and celebrating. Can't wait Cool

I would say it is 4M well spent to rid the world of another News Neanderthal. Just another example of an elderly person who technology passed by.

I'm sure he will hire Mapes to wipe his drool and change his depends.

Cool Cool Cool

thanks for the link shawa!

almost seems scripted to make Rather look good, and gessh, still clinging to the company line that the documents could be real.

The Late Show with David Letterman, March 3, 2005

4 million

Ha,ha,ha,ha........... Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

$4 million-- does this sound like mismanagement? I'm sure we all could find a document fabricator at a cheaper price.
