What's the surprise?

Forget Chaffee, he is a Dem anyway, based on his voting record.
He has even said he would consider jumping to the Dem party.

The seven Dems said they would ALLOW an up or down vote, they
didn't say they would VOTE FOR the nominees.

I fully expect that NO Dems will vote for the nominees to come.
But look at the numbers, even if ALL the Dems plus Chaffee vote against
the nominees, they still get confirmed. (54-46)

Personally, I'm at a point that I don't care how they do it, compromise,
don't compromise, or GO NUCLEAR!!

Just get those conservative judges on the Court!!!!
The future of our country depends on it.

Confused Isn't that what the vote would have been had everyone just "shut-up and voted" in the first place? All this Filibuster B.S. is nothin' but a waist of time Mad

I think you should apply for McCain's job as you get it, he doesn't.

I feel that the ones that voted against our views are all planted, and that was their belief when they started politics.... to be a plant for the other side :/

MJ

P.S.

We know (more or less) who is what now :/

Now it is being spun as if Frist and Bush sent two Senators to do their work, Graham and the dirt bag from Ohio. I think this rings hollow.

It is my guess that the two of them are suffering the most from the "deal" and the have asked for some help from the White House and Leadership to save their bacon. I know that this can not be playing well in their home states.

Anyone else having a problem believing this new spin?
