This is a sick bunch of people. Razz Razz Razz They are not "worth a bucket of warm spit.." (John Nance Garner) or a weak phart. Surprised Surprised Surprised Surprised They should let her hang from the fence and pay no attention. (A few days without food, water and sanitation would be a real adventure.) Mad Mad Question: When did Momma Moonbat ever give a speech much less ever say anything coherent or substantive?? Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked It's all been verbal blather and flatulent whining. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

When did the death of 2000 brave and valient soldiers ever become a "milestone". BARF!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Cindy Sheehan, the military mother who made her son's death in Iraq a rallying point for the anti-war movement, plans to tie herself to the White House fence to protest the milestone of 2,000 U.S. military deaths in Iraq.

"I'm going to go to Washington, D.C. and I'm going to give a speech at the White House, and after I do, I'm going to tie myself to the fence and refuse to leave until they agree to bring our troops home," Sheehan said in a telephone interview last week as the milestone approached.

"And I'll probably get arrested, and when I get out, I'll go back and do the same thing," she said.

The death toll among U.S. military forces since the March 2003 invasion stood at 1,996 on Sunday.

The milestone's approach prompted plans for hundreds of other demonstrations across the United States, but for Sheehan, each military death in the Iraqi war has been a tragedy.

"To me, every single member since Number One has been tragic and needless and unnecessary," she said. "My son was somewhere around 615, and I've been working so hard for peace since my son was killed and now almost 1,400 more soldiers have been killed since Casey died."

Army Specialist Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004.

Beyond Sheehan's plans, a candlelight vigil is planned at the White House to mourn the 2,000-death milestone. Hundreds of other demonstrations are scheduled for the day after the milestone number is reached.

"I hope that this milestone marks the point when the American people realize the U.S. military is not going to stop the violence in Iraq, and they instead start demanding a political solution to this problem," Sean O'Neill, a U.S. Marine who served in Iraq, said in a statement.

'HUMAN COST OF A LIE'

The American Friends Service Committee was helping coordinate activists to protest the Iraq war.

"On the day after the 2,000th reported U.S. military death in Iraq, people will gather in communities across the U.S. to say that the countries pro-peace majority wants Congress to stop the deaths by stopping the dollars that are funding the war," a coalition of anti-war groups said online at www.afsc.org.

I say let her tie herself to the fence and then everyone just walk by and ignore her.

As long as she garners attention, she will continue making a mockery of her son's heroic sacrifice.

"I'm going to go to Washington, D.C. and I'm going to give a speech at the White House, and after I do, I'm going to tie myself to the fence and refuse to leave until they agree to bring our troops home,"

As they said in the movie "Full Metal Jacket", when asked, "How can you kill women and children, the reply was "you just don't have to lead them as much." Just had to add that. [Deleted comment by Admin, Lew].Come on Cindy, make a real statement and the MSM would love it for the 6 o'clock news. I feel nothing for this person and I just feel sorry for the lose of her son.

Oh gracious, please let me tie the knots. I will use silk I will be gentle and she will not escape.

We saw how long it took the esteemed Judith Miller to crack whilst in the belly of the beast.

..... one thing I've noticed with these 'fellow travellers' is they do not read the news, history, or books. Just where do they get thier marching orders then?

Somewhere, surely somewhere.

Consider this: During World War II, United States military dead amounted to 407,316 souls. The magic number of 2000, for which the press already has their type set and various moonbats are preparing their stunts, died every 6.6 days for four miserable years. Does the behaviour we are witnessing today serve those men's memory? What has happened to our (and their) country?

Or how about that beach landing where the moon was at full and tugging on the tide beaching marines 500 yards off the beach. 5k casualties in one morning.

I would like to add as a percentage all of those who have died, did so willingly. They made peace with God and went with faith, valor, honor, gallantry, chivalry, and much much more then any reporter or anti-war person can ever know. This is what they truly hate. The self-less person who loves the world we have become comfortable with and is willing to sacrifice their life for our comfort.

The evil amongst us cannot deal with this.

I would P*ss on her but I would not disrespect a perfectly good P*ss that way. Besides that freak show would probably enjoy it. I would gladly tie her to the fence, firmly around the neck at the top. This moonbat is desperate, just like Howie Dean. Semper Fi.

While most all of us dislike and disagree with what this woman is doing, let's get this thread up to a higher moral level. Remember, whatever we say here still reflects on the Swift vets.

Not that I'm looking all that hard, but has anybody seen anything on the news or on the internet that says she has actually tied herself to a fence at the White House?

I mean, we passed 2,000 a couple of days ago.

There is a thread at Free Republic that says she was arrested again, for laying down on the sidewalk in front of the White House. Reportedly, counter-protesters booed her.

Sad Sack held a press conference today and had at least 3 reporters present. She mumbled and fumbled like to over-the-hill valleygirl ditz she is. Seems the moonbat left had left her behind.

Cindy threw a 'major' press conference, and nobody came Cool

Sad Sack Sheehan Cast Aside October 28, 2005

RUSH: This is hilarious. Just to show you how fast the Democrats drop you when you become worthless. You remember back this past summer and going into the month of September, the celebrity in this country was Cindy Sheehan. She was the face of the Democratic anti-war movement. She was the face of the Democratic base. She was the person we needed to run for office, people like Cindy Sheehan. Yesterday she showed up -- I'm sorry, it was this morning -- at the National Press Club. She spoke to a nearly empty room. There were only a couple of foreign journalists there. Zilch attendance. Nobody cared that Cindy Sheehan was speaking today. She gave her opinion on possible indictments, and I guess she's as qualified as anybody else in the media to comment on this. Unidentified foreign reporter, one of two or three in the room, said, "Big news in Washington today as the grand jury is finally reaching the conclusion in its term of the Wilson affair. I was wondering how you analyze Dick Cheney's role in it."

SAD SACK: I haven't -- I've been really busy so I haven't got to like analyze a lot of things but I believe that the corruption goes all the way to the top, and that this is encouraging to me because I believe the investigations are going to continue, especially after the indictments, and that's all that we've been asking for for a long time. These indictments I think are wonderful to be able to actually to expose the lies, expose these people for what they are.

RUSH: Well, Cindy, the indictment today doesn't expose any lie about going to war, doesn't expose any lie about Valerie Plame, at least in outing her. It has nothing to do with the central theme of the case. Now, a reporter from the French News Agency, Jerome Bernard, says, "Jerome Bernard from AFP. How do you expect to keep the momentum in the coming months for your movement? What kind of actions are you planning?" Meanwhile, these questions are asked with nobody in the room. She has no momentum. She's got this guy from the agency, the French News Agency, and one other or two other reporters there, and that's it.

…..more

Cindy is too valuable to us to let her fade away. The political and media lefties are running from her as fast as they can. We must not let them get away. After hearing clips from her news conference today, there would be nothing better for us than to let her speak and keep her identified with the left.
