My wife knows enough to buy Hunt's or Del Monte (and not Heintz) when she buys ketchup.
We've tried several off-brands and believe me some of the ones we've tried have been dreadful. If you know of other brands that are actually good please share, but until then we only buy H or DM.

I just ordered a case of it BJ. I'll post back when I've had a chance to try it. (sure hope we like it)
We have a local chain of grocery stores in this area of Texas called Brookshire Bros.
They have an inhouse brand labeled HYTop that is identical in taste to Heinz.
Probably is Heinz relabeled.

that is,ground up bugs.This is what I tell people about Heinz Ketchup--foreign plants and ground up foreign BUGS.

As always, I'm helping on matters concerning quality control(mostly since 04).

Oh boy! Am I ever glad I ordered some of this stuff. Just came in today and we just had supper. Hamburger steaks with baked potatos just dug up out of the ground outside. Don't know about ya'll, but we like to mix a little ketchup in with our potatoes. Not much now, just a taste.
Hey folks, this is the best tasting ketchup I've ever had. Beats the heck out of Heinz and all the rest.
Go ahead and order it up, you won't be sorry.
