So the anti-military, anti-victory Democrats demand a time table for wtihdrawal or immediate withdrawal, and they get shot down. The military commander draws up contingency plans for drawing down troops, and the Democrats claim victory, and that the Bush administration has finally seen the light????
Get real. Any competent military command is going to draw up any number of contingency plans, the implementation of which depends on the situation on the ground. Chances are one or more of these plans is going to be generally in line with somebody's opinion.
This is the equivalent of a child demanding during the winter to go to Hershey Park "right now" and repeating that demand every day. When the parent says "let's go to Hershey Park" the following Summer, does the child claim victory and state that the parent finally saw the light?
