Let me tell you what really haunts me about Kerry and his friends. I was in the service a little before your time and was in college when they were marching in the street. I deeply regret that I was "too busy" to help returning veterans by demonstrating against the demonstrators. I saw them from classroom windows and they remain clear in my memory today, adding to my guilt. Kerry and his friends loudly voiced their stories then and want to silence you now. Don't let them do it again. And you finally have my support. Thanks for the opportunity to redeem myself and thanks for your service.
