Congressmen ask Rice to keep "Dog The Bounty Hunter" in U.S.
Twenty-nine Republican members of Congress have gone to bat for Hawaii bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman.
They've sent a letter to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice asking her to deny the extradition of Chapman to Mexico.
Chapman is the star of the popular A&E TV show "Dog The Bounty Hunter."
He was arrested last month along with two co-stars for illegal detention and conspiracy for his capture of fugitive convicted rapist Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 2003.

If they let this man get dragged back to Mexico, it will set a precedence for turning over 29 CIA agents to the Italian authorities for seizing a known al Qaeda terrorist in Italy.

Furthermore, Mexico has never respected American authority and this would send a bad message to the American people.

The FBI is walking a dangerous line with this one. They screwed up and should just let this go.

I'm usually a day late and a dollar short on TV programs.

I thought the "Dog" guy was some reality based made up character.

I finally watched a show about 3 weeks ago and was struck with the
genuineness of this guy. I did some research,,, 6000 collars !
Wow this guy's for real. Wish I had figured that out years ago.

I hope he gets out of the Mexico thing, he is in contact with the judge.
