From the Globe article above:

It is the time to put my energy to work as part of the majority in the Senate, to do all I can to end this war and strengthen our security.

Well, after just travelling to Iraq and having lunch with a couple of reporters, I'm sure he is brimming with facts about atrocities committed by Americans there. He could just dust off his 1971 testimony, change some place names and, voila, all set to testify before his own committee.

From my blog at Hangrightpolitics.com

I (We) finally succeeded in my(our) mission to defeat John Kerry and to keep him from ever being President, or More specifically, the Commander-In-Chief. As Rory posted earlier today, John Francois has officially announced that he will not run for President in 2008.

I started blogging for that very reason. I joined the Swifties with money and time to help them with their quest to stop Kerry. It would have been bad enough to have that Buffoon as President, but to allow a known traitor to be CIC was, and is, unthinkable.

In reality, he did this to himself, starting in 1972 with his vile comments to the Congress about how the U.S. military was “worse than (J)engis Khan” (SIC) and finally stepping on his own pee-pee by the “joke” that the miltary people in Iraq were dumb. But I like to think I had, at least, a small part in his defeat.

Now it is time to go after his Senate Seat.

SO SORRY, JOHN. NOW PLEASE GO AWAY

I just sent Admiral Hoffmann a thank you for allowing me to be a part of a group of fellow swift mates and POWs to finally put a nail in his Presidential aspirations. Thank all of you who took the time, effort and money to make this happen. God Bless all of you. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hold on. Let's go after his Senate seat. it is an affrontation to even allow him to be the ineffective Senator he is.

I still don't trust Kerry.
He's in it for Kerry.
If he's decided that the presidency is too hard, he's gonna posture for something else.
It is not inconceivable that a cabinet position is now in his sights.
I can't see him wanting transportation or interior or some other domestic position . He's probably going to wheel and deal favors for Secretary of Defense or Secretary of State with whoever gets the Democratic nod for POTUS candidate.

But according to Kerry associates, the senator's plans changed dramatically in the fallout of his election-eve "botched joke" about the education levels of US troops. The harsh reaction to that incident -- from many Democrats as well as Republicans -- displayed to Kerry the extreme skepticism within his own party about whether he should mount another run.

Ain't it true to form for Kerry to go out with a big fat lie???

The joke was not a lie. He meant every word of it.

He hates the military, like most of his ivy league collegues.

I didn't mean that the joke was a lie. He did mean what he said, but his excuse is a lie. Botched joke indeed!!!

He never could take accountability for his actions. You see its the fault of the listener for misunderstanding his joke.

Imagine what we can accomplish if we all fail to take his jokes.

Old John F'm (if thay can't take a joke) Kerry. They'll have to get along without me then. Very Happy
