Chuck Norris, sitting in for Hannity, endorses NEWT '08! OK, so maybe it's not the equivalent of a Papal Imprimatur, but it's a start, ain't it? Wink

This isn't one of those links that will be available indefinitely as it's contained at the end of a Dennis Miller video commentary (which might be worth the trip in itself, save for Miller's endorsement choice), so catch it while you can...

interesting discussion re Newt on this FReeper thread
couple comments...

Is he running for Prez? No, he's not running for Prez, IMHO.

He's running for VP. He can be a kingmaker and probably realizes that he has that role in his grasp. He can be an even more powerful VP than Dick Cheney.

Just imagine: Add a Gingrich VP role to a ticket headlined by a Pres. contender named Romney or Giuliani or McCain - the ticket has immediate gravitas, to use a lib word. With the Newt on the ticket, he addresses any and all weaknesses associated with the Pres. contender.

Newt is definitely a player in this election cycle

just imagine a Newt - Hillary debate LOL

Drool Wink

I think I'd risk losing the WH just to see him OWN any opposition in multiple presidential debates.

More Newt, from Powerline...

Newt summitry

Newt Gingrich has posted his remarks at the National Review Conservative Summit here. Video of the address is also accessible on the linked page. His remarks as presented do not follow the posted text so I recommend that you check the video to hear what Newt had to say.

Newt's well received speech at the NR Summit over the weekend followed Chuck Norris's expression of support for Newt last week on Hannity and Colmes. Filling in for Sean Hannity, Norris endorsed Newt "Graingrich" for president. Fortunately, Chuck nailed the first name so that viewers could not mistake whom he was referring to.
