Giuliani has never struck me as a person of above average intelligence, rather the ambitious sort who is successful at the worst kind of politics. When first viewing the recent picture of him and his mistress my thought was his opponents wasted no time attacking, then realized this was part of Rudy's campaign. Not only does this man lack character, but to show an embracing kiss with the younger Barbie tart mistress he cheated with on his wife, shows his poor judgment. Unbelievable. When the grown ups go on the attack, Rudy will be filleted and left outside for the dogs to chew on.

That Giuliani appears to be, at least, digestable? (so far) to a more moderate element of Democratic thought (as opposed to a full-fledged manifestation of Derangement Syndrome reserved for the truly odious conservative), ought to be enough to tell anyone something.

As far as this gooey "kiss" episode is concerned, it's a part of the battle for moral standing that Giuliani knows full well he would have to deal with sooner or later. The politically "smart" move is to try to "manage" it, get it out there now, and then see which way the wind blows.

As for me, I'm putting no wind in his sails...we have much better conservative credentials to offer.

Rudi is a nice guy, but his biggest drawback is "he can't beat Hillary"
The far right will not support him because:
1: He's pro-chice.
The religious right will derail him.
2: He's anti-gun.
The NRA will derail him.
3: Family values?
4: He doesn't look like he should be president.
Women won't vote for him.

I'm a retired UPS driver of thirty years, I talked to thosands of people
over the years, you would be shocked at how many women vote for the way he looks!!!
They see him on TV and say "I like that guy, I think he'd make a good president" (if he's good looking)
You ask her what she knows about him and you get a "dumb blond stare".
But they do vote, when was the last time we had a balding president?

I think Rudy should run for the Senate seat that will be vacated when Hillary runs for POTUS. That he has a good shot at winning.
I don't think she can run for POTUS and Senate in the same election.
If he thinks he can win the nomination for president, he's daydreaming in technicolor.
For president, I think the smartest most experinced republican would have to be Newt, he's got the experience and the brains like no other, he is well respected and yes he will run.
And with the help of Dick Morris, he can beat the beast.

Tony; I would sure agree with your assessment about the 'Looks factor'. First time my wife seen Kerry on TV, knowing nothing about him, she said, "I couldn't vote for him and look at that for 4 yrs".

Rudy, with no support from the right, will not make it to nomination.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! Laughing

I think balding men and men who shave their heads are sexy!

Of course, it doesn't really matter because Hillary is gonna win one way or the other, but I will be voting for Tancredo.

Ollie North, John Kasich and Newt are all better than what we got going now.
Newt and Kasich sperheaded the "Contract on America" which gave the pubbies control of both houses for twelve years.
The republicans squandered that majority, not because of THE WAR, but because they refused to shut down the Mexican border when 75% of the people were "demanding it"
