I guess that it's not just Walter Reed that has problems. Regular Army has problems too. So in my Kid's words...

In six hours, I can be at Ft Campbell and load up my kid and three grandkids and run them up to Peoria and at least house and feed them in a normal manner, but I'm really getting torqued at the Regular Army about now.

Having never been in the military, I have no idea about the housing requirements and etc at all.

Noticed the Tin Can Sailor in sig line.

How did or does the Navy deal with the housing item??

My kid is also information challenged. She got a move-in last Friday, but didn't bother telling anyone. Furniture to follow in a week or so. I didn't have any great problems with my moves. I was in Capehart housing at NAS Lemoore and then Savanah housing in Long Beach before buying a house. Three houses, but then I didn't have to wait for my Navy to find a place for me. Realators move really quickly when you have a big down in your bank.

Now to get my sullen teenage grand daughter to get with it at her new high school after being ripped away from her friends in Colorado.

I still don't know how the Army works things, but I guess that the kid is in the middle of a learning curve on coping.

*sigh*
