An editorial in Saturday's Courier-Journal accuses the SwiftVets of a smear campaign against John Kerry.

It was a young John Kerry who smeared Vietnam Veterans with a broad brush, accusing us of being war criminals.

Huey, you are missing the real point. It's only smear when it attacks the left. When it came to Kerry's diatribe, it was just a young angry man speaking his mind.

All the claims of Bush's DUI, Desertion, low scholastic ability, failed business ventures, stealing an election, dodging the draft by joining the ANG and all were simply concerned citizens exercising their freedom of speech.

Questioning Kerry's fitness as CIC and "war hero" status are pure smear tactics.

See how that works? Rolling Eyes Wink

So, the CinC can be criticized for wearing a flight suit he qualified to wear "back in the day" as a trained military aircraft pilot, but the photos of whosis in a NASA bunny-suit can't be?!?!

Hmmmm. Now I'm sooo confused...
