Hi everyone!
I received this email today and hope you all will take a few minutes and write a quick email to a Marine! They are hoping to get 6,000 emails sent to these boys to let them know we the American people support them!

From http://www.blackfive.net

--PLEASE REPOST AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE, BUT WITH ALL TEXT SO APPROPRIATE SOURCE CREDIT REMAINS.

Those that support our troops unconditionally are most likely already doing so, and these Marines would love to hear from you again.

It's those that say they support the troops and not the war that they haven't heard from. No excuses now! Let's do it, because I know we can reach the goal of 6,000 e-mails easily with little effort!!

Here's an EASY way to send your support, let these Marines know that their selfless sacrifice to go wherever they are directed to and do whatever asked of them IS protecting our nation and securing our freedoms. They enlisted and put their lives on the line and on hold to protect us--and this is no thankless task.

So let's show them that we all care!

All you have to do is send 1 positive e-mail to this address:

RCT-6lettersfromh@gcemnf-wiraq.usmc.mil

That's it! This is all it takes!

They'd love to hear from folks overseas too!

And if you feel you cannot support these Marines, then start being honest and stop saying you support the troops when you really do not. I'm not asking you to change your politics or your views on the war (or any war)--this is inconsequential here!

This bulletin is just supplying information on how to let our young men and women know that we as a nation care whether they live or die, that we support them because they are fellow Americans.

FROM COL. SIMCOCK: I'll tell you what, the one thing that all Marines want to know about -- and that includes me and everyone within Regimental Combat Team 6 -- we want to know that the American public are behind us. We believe that the actions that we're taking over here are very, very important to America. We're fighting a group of people that, if they could, would take away the freedoms that America enjoys.

If anyone -- you know, just sit down, jot us -- throw us an e- mail, write us a letter, let us know that the American public are behind us. Because we watch the news just like everyone else. It's broadcast over here in our chow halls and the weight rooms, and we watch that stuff, and we're a little bit concerned sometimes that America really doesn't know what's going on over here, and we get sometimes concerns that the American public isn't behind us and doesn't see the importance of what's going on. So that's something I think that all Marines, soldiers and sailors would like to hear from back home, that in fact, yes, they think what we're doing over here is important and they are in fact behind us.

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE?

--START BY SAYING HELLO,
--WHAT STATE YOU'RE FROM,
--HOW MANY CHILDREN/GRANDCHILDREN YOU MAY HAVE,
--WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING OR FOR FUN,
--IF YOU OR YOUR RELATIVES SERVED.

--TELL THEM YOU WISH THEM ALL THE BEST, THAT YOU THANK THEM, FOR THEIR SERVICE, THAT YOU WISH FOR THEIR HEALTHY AND SPEEDY RETURN, THAT YOU WISH THE BEST FOR THEIR FAMILIES AS WELL.

--IF YOU SUPPORT THE WAR, TELL THEM SO.
--IF YOU ARE PROUD OF THEM FOR SERVING, SAY SO.
--ARE YOU PRAYING FOR THEM? THEY'D LOVE TO HEAR IT.

YOU GET THE IDEA.

THINGS NOT TO TALK ABOUT: ANYTHING NEGATIVE. POLITICS. (would you appreciate receiving a letter full of someone else's political beliefs? probably not.)

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!
