I went to Patton’s gravesite while in Europe this month and while there ran into an Army Sergeant with 4 very young men. He wasn't that old himself, probably 29 or 30 years old, whereas the privates were all 18 to 20 years old. They were about to ship off to Iraq and the Sergeant brought the young guys under his command to the gravesite for some perspective.

It was interesting to have a conversation with him. He spoke and they listened. You could definitely tell who was in charge and evidence that although Patton and the other men of WWII are long gone, their courage and resolve still have an influence upon a newer generation.

Yes...that was compelling far beyond your average utube production, for sure! and great find on Patton's cemetery...
