I must admit, I am curious.
How can veteran status easily be confirmed without either a signed Form DA-180, or the veteran's full name for a FOIA request which successfully returns the publicly-releasable form of the vet's military record?
I am most particular about how much personal data I strew about on the Internet. Is that where the bar is for posting there?
Are you going to authenticate all the posters in that area as bona fide veterans, or just the ones selected arbitrarily? |

We've been vetted from other venues where we are known. Most of the Swift Boat guys are also members of SOCNET.
