Amazon
I would guess that the publication date (Aug 19) isn't co-incidental.
And the publisher? "Rodale"...

Quote: | A V.P. Hint? VP's Convention Day Is Veteran Themed
August 11, 2008

On a conference call on Monday morning, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and top ranking aide Anita Dunn announced that the theme for Wednesday -- the night on which the vice presidential candidate is scheduled to speak -- will be national security and honoring veterans. The choice, a reporter noted, lent itself to the interpretation that Obama would choose a running mate with background in military affairs -- like, say, Sen. Chuck Hagel or John Kerry.

Or, Weasley Clark maybe? He and Obama have been pretty tight lately.

It's a pretty safe bet that Lurch, and all of his left wing nut supporters read this forum, so they would know that it wouldn't take much for it to be re-commissioned. _________________ No whiners! |

Could Obama and the DNC possibly be that stupid? Obama needs a "moderate" and someone closer to "pro-life" and "pro-family values" and "pro-traditional-religion" to counter his own "pro-abortion", "pro-gay-marriage", "tax-and-spend", "big-government" Socialist baggage. Besides Rezko, Ayers, et al, that includes the Jeremiah Wright albatross around his political neck, who is planning his own book tour "October Surprise". He needs someone who can attract the "Independents" and "moderates", especially given that Obama is Left of Stalin. Granted they want to try to siphon some of the "patriot/pro-military" vote...while denying the military overseas the vote...but isn't Kerry badly damaged goods? Given also that they use focus groups to plot their every move, maybe they need a female, but Hillary Clinton is radioactive to them. They have a lot of keyholes to line up, don't they? A normal political party would simply go with the best person, but they have to line up all the stars and planets to try to win the "swing" states while appeasing their moonbat base, and I just don't see Kerry bringing in anything but Massachusetts, and they already have that Liberal cesspool. To be honest, they don't have anyone worth nominating. |

I have learned to never underestimate the Dem penchant for shooting themselves in the foot with boneheaded action. |

John Kerry Lies About Swift Boat Veterans
An Open Letter to Keith Olbermann July 2008
By Tedd Peck
Investigative Reporter
Quote: | Dear Keith,
Many years ago I was taught to not believe everything that is written in the newspaper. In checking out your biography I noticed this epiphany happened within a few months of your birth. To doubt what I read in a newspaper was a sobering thought to a naïve teenager of yesteryear. Today, so many years later I am shocked by the gullibility of most Americans when it comes to listening to the endless political/tabloid babble show lineup that have replaced some newsprint media. The propaganda delivery system has changed in the world but those words of caution, fortunately, still apply.... |
...excellent article and a solid closing:
Quote: | As long as Kerry has his adoring media sycophants covering his proverbial six, good men will be impugned and Kerry's lies of heroic proportions will flourish. Wake up and smell the coffee, Keith. I've known a lot of officers and enlisted men during my military career and the most conniving, duplicitous, egotistical one among them was John F. Kerry. Please make your apologies public. It is the least you can do for us who served our country in a time of need while you were in the prepuberal stage of your young life. |

you know when BOR said something on his show the other week about the Swiftboat vets being back I wondered what the heck he was talking about...
then I thought maybe Corsi's book caused him to think that...
but if BO names JK his VP - yikes! all hands on deck!
all repubs EVERYWHERE have to demand his specific SF180 !!! BO surely doesn't plan to sink his own ship? _________________ Stevie

Why Obama's would-be VP won't be ...Kathleen Sebelius, Governess of Kansas.
Quote: | Until recently, for all Kansans knew, Kathleen Sebelius was the best thing to happen to the state since ethanol.
Their "moderate" Democrat governor -- there are no liberals in Kansas -- has lately taken up major national wall space as a bona fide political pin-up.
Vogue magazine did a feature on the handsome, 60-year-old in designer gowns. Time magazine named Sebelius one of America's five best governors, and the Democrats tapped her to give the party's response to the president's State of the Union speech.
More impressively, Barack Obama had reportedly put Sebelius at the very top of his short list for his vice-presidential running mate, a strategic crumb for both soft-core Catholics and surly feminists.
And then -- da noive! -- Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas went and spoiled it all.
In May, Naumann publicly chastised the conspicuously Catholic governor for helping make Kansas "infamous for being the late-term abortion center for the Midwest."
Although this revelation came as news to most Kansans, Archbishop Naumann actually understated the state's notoriety. Incredible as it may seem, Kansas has emerged as the late-term abortion capital of the world.
In the past two years alone, women have come from 48 states and sundry points beyond to have late-term abortions in Kansas.
The state's most methodical executioner of this dubious art, Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, has accurately boasted on his website of having "more experience in late abortion services with fetuses over 24 weeks than anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere." |
... it gets worse, read the rest of the article, and you will see how Sebelius has accepted tens of thousands of dollars from Tiller and obstructed justice at every point where Tiller has been charged, she has been bought and paid for by the Left, and how close she may be to having an investigation opened against her, so if Obama wants more undesirable baggage, he can have her-- she fits right in with his kind of thugs, crooks, radicals, and other unsavory characters...and good riddance.....
Quote: | To win in November, the radically pro-abortion Obama needs a good chunk of the Catholic vote. To secure it, he needs someone skilled at feigning Catholicism, and that, my friends, is no longer Kathleen Sebelius. |
