Jesus was not the community organizer, Barabbas was...and the crowd demanded that Pilate free him and let him lead them, just like the Obama devotees do today. Consider also that "the crowd" of Obama devotees could be perceived as rejecting that which represents Good and Liberty and represents God and Morality in favor of what could be perceived as the perveyor of evil ideas and ideology, at least an ideology we know is a failure and enslaves mankind.

Let's look at some other misunderstandings about the Liberals' outrageous claim that Obama (like Jesus) was a "community organizer" and Palin is a governor like Pilate .

Obama has been likened to a "god" but doesn't even know what his own religion is...Jesus proved He IS God.

Palin threw the "moneychangers" and other corrupt politicians out of office...Obama is in their debt and OWNED by them...can we say $28,500/plate dinner with the "moneychangers" and Hellywood elites?

Pilate washed his hands of the entire matter....Palin used both hands to grab the scoundrels and throw them out of office.

Looks like Obama is more like Barabbas, and the do-nothing, investigate-nothing-Liberal, "wash their hands of all negatives against Obama" media and the Democratic Party are ALL "Pilates".

....need more?

Thanks for bringing up Barabbas, it has been a long time since I went to Sunday school but I am glad to see someone bring up that Pontius Pilot let the crowd (the community) decide the fate of Jesus and they wanted Barabbas freed instead of Jesus.

Also, Jesus was a miracle worker and he was held for blasphemy. He was not a community organizer.

Here is a little more clarification.

Hat tip to Ann Coulter for this clarification on "Community Organizers" and who the very first "community organizer" was:

Obama: Lucifer is my homeboy

Quote:
David Freddoso's magnificent new book, "The Case Against Barack Obama," describes the forefather to "community organizers" like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton – the famed Saul Alinsky.

Alinsky is sort of the George Washington of "community organizers." If there were an America-hater's Mount Rushmore, Saul Alinsky would be on it. He tried to hire Hillary to work for him right out of Wellesley. A generation later, those who had trained with Alinsky did hire Obama as a community organizer.

In Freddoso's book, he quotes from the dedication in the first edition of Alinsky's seminal book, "Rules for Radicals," where Alinsky wrote:

"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: From all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins – or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer."

And don't forget that Obama tried to earmark a million for his wife's employer after her employer more than double her $100,000+ salary. That used to be called bribery.

In our small town there has been a billboard mounted on a building featuring an American Indian (or native american - whatever) with a feather in his headband. The figure is a caricature from the 50's whose eyes move back and forth advertising Skookum apples. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQ0b93SsUgE and http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/13123)

When the building was sold the billboard was destined for the garbage dump. Since it had been up for 40+ years, most thought it was a shame.

Along came a "community organizer" who lead a grass-roots campaign to save the sign - something a vast majority (90%) of the citizens wanted. Yes, there was an outcry from the politically correct, mostly transplants from a liberal community located on the coast. Fortunately they were shot down and the locally famous Skookum sign lives to this day.

Another here in our community is a lighted cross high up on a hill overlooking the town (lit up during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays). A fierce storm knocked it over and while being rebuilt, the transplants raised an outcry once again. It was a "community organizer" who found private funds and private property to keep the cross lit up on the hill. Relocated but still up.

My point? Pretty much the same as the point being made at the Republican convention. There are those who will use the action to elevate their careers and those others who make it their career to accomplish the action. Regardless if the action was a one time thing or not, the basic still remains. Obama was a PAID community organizer, (hmmm, isn't a lobbyist a "community organizer" in that vein?) and unfortunately gives the concept a bad name.

Last but not least think on this one. The PTA is a community organization. I have to pause to wonder what the percentage is between private and public schools who have a PTA. When looking at the candidates, I think my vote will go to the one who was a member of the PTA.

Excellent illustrations of the difference between a genuine "Community Organizer" and a Saul Alinsky "Community Agitator".
