Sorry your little smear operation didn't work, and the American public has realized Bush is the worst Commander-in-Chief since Nixon. Better luck next time! Laughing

I always get a chuckle over anyone on television (or anywhere
else), when they make broad, sweeping statements.

I don´t consider giving my opinion about the fitness of
John Forbes Kerry to serve as the President of the United States
and Commander-in-Chief as a ¨smear operation.¨

There have been factual items presented on this forum pertaining
to John Forbes Kerry. To discuss these items and to
give opinions about his character is not smearing
anyone.

Expressing one's opinion is at the heart of the American political system, and is a fundamental right that thousands of Americans have died for over 200 years. However, I get riled up when somebody starts saying that only people of his mind set can post here and others should leave. That is a bit more than expressing views.

¨I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it.¨
Voltaire

I have disagreed at times, but have not criticized anyone´s position on this forum or asked them to leave.

(By the way, not sure if the French agree with Voltaire today)

It was Walt Jones who said that, and the French would disagree with Voltaire. Jefferson said that the health of the republic depended on a well informed citizenry. Discussion of issues is one way to achieve that.

It does look like this group is starting to tank. Except for a few bloggers, the media has slowly been distancing itself from SBVT. Googlenews shows just a trickle of stories, only five in the last week and one of those from Salon.

We're old.... but SBVT has barely begun to be "news," yet.

sparky - any idea how long it can take to get ranked in the first page on google? I keep up on search engine news and I work it hard on all my sites, and it still took six months of constant tweaking on one of my sites to get it onto the first page. It took another six months to get it to rank #1 for the search terms I wanted ranking for.

Anyone notice Kerry's remarks in rebuttal to the President's radio address today? He sure skirted any mention of armor, equipment and ammunition! It was quite conspicuous in its absence! Laughing

Google news, NNN. All SBVT has to do to get on google news is be reported in virtually any online newspaper in the world.

5 reports in the last week is embarassing. I'm almost getting a little embarassed that I'm posting at such a "has-been" site even as a critic!

Oh, cool! Wink

Does this mean we can count on your misleading, diversionary and lying attempts to bolster your empty suit candidate coming to an end any time soon?

"Rats," said Eeyore. "I thot not."

Well, in spite of the embarassment, I'm enjoying myself too much to just quit. I'll be around awhile.

Understandable. To be a Kerry supporter is, after all, to be a masochist.
