Intrepid Swift Boat Sailor Tony Snesko continues to stand firm at the Vietnam
Memorial in Washington DC getting the word out to everyone about John Kerry

-- As he comments in this email, response was both rewarding and expected --

--------- "If You are not taking flak. The you are not over the target" --------------

---- As has been said by many people on this forum: God Bless you Tony ------

It was the Best of Days and the Worst of Days at "The Wall!"

Wow! What a day! I spent a little extra time with the Bible and prayer
Saturday morning, because I knew the SBVT ads would have a major
influence, and they surely did.

The crowds were normal for a Saturday, but the attention to my display
tripled. I was there from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm and there were always
groups of 8 to 30 people reading the display. And it wasn't just an article
or two; they would spend 10 to 15 minutes reading every article.

I brought 300 "Anti-John Kery" bumper stickers along with several others,
but I sold out of the Bush stickers. The positive responses were up by at
least 15% to 20%, and the negatives remained the same (about one every
30 minutes on average, most of whom made comments over their shoulder
as they quickly walked away).

The major difference was their vehemence. I had a few people who were
downright angry, and one Democrat even had the nerve to accuse us of
dirty tricks for not releasing the information about Kerry before the
convention. I took considerable pleasure in telling him about our
under-reported press conference several months ago.

I actually started packing up at 7:00 pm, when it looked like the crowd
was waning, but apparently it was only a two-minute lull because the
crowds returned and stayed until sunset. Thank God for sunsets!

When I got home, my throat wasn't sore, but the muscles around my
throat were. I've never had that experience before. Yesterday the
crowds were about half of Saturday's, but the vehemence on both sides
was still there. A few people mentioned the story of Elliott's retraction,
but I posted his affidavit and the SBVT letter to the press, and that
satisfied them.

A question raised consistently was about the 12 guys standing behind
Kerry at the Democratic convention vs. the photo of the original "Band of
Brothers." My response was, "Kerry put the photo of his fellow officers on
his website when he began his race; those were not the men who were
behind him on the stage. The officers have nothing to gain by putting
their reputations on the line to come out against Kerry publicly. However,
the guys standing behind Kerry are staying in the best hotels and eating
at the best restaurants, and I'm sure they are not taking time off from
work without being compensated in some way.

"So, whom do you believe, the guys who are being compensated for the
time they spend with a billionaire and possibly the next President of the
United States, or the guys who were his original Band of Brothers and who
truly know John Kerry and his motives and have nothing to gain?"

As for the blood that was spilled, I offered a peanut to a squirrel and he
mistook my finger for the peanut.

Let's keep the ads funded and going strong. They are working!

Bless you shipmate - standing out there all day on the weekends - above and beyond!

You should get a meritorious promotion for this, Tony! Wink
