said "no person on the boat WITH Kerry" had a problem with the Purple Heart. I just read Steve Gardner's interview and he WAS on the boat. Why do they keep saying "every man" on the boat supports Kerry. Steve Gardner needs to get air time and tell Lanny that he was "on the boat.". These people are such liars.

It's semantics, word games, the parsing of the english language. Sorta like what the real meaning of 'is' is, if being 'alone' is really alone, that 'oral' sex when it is only enjoyed by one participant isn't really 'oral' sex? And so on!

To these detractors, 'with' means on the same boat, standing next to, within 20 feet, etc. Not what it really means to the normal military man and woman.

It seems that these Demo-Socialists and their media apologists will not get the point about "serving with" another service man. One can make the case that ignorance is at work with many Americans, but these media types are no better than Goebbels et al. It is indeed deliberate.

What our spokesmen have to do when they appear on a Hannity & Colmes (BTW, I look at Colmes as another limp d--k liberal who couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag), is when they are addressed by Sean Hannity or any other such sympathetic figure, they have to clearly define the terms, because right now the Lanny Davises and the David Corns of the world are doing the defining. WE are the ones who served and we should be the ones to define the terms as WE have always understood them, i.e. what serving with another means, the meaning of "shipmates" in a broader as well as a narrow sense, the perspective of an officer - not only an XO but the commander of another vessel in the same squadron/division vs. that of a crew member and how an officer must evaluate the performance of his peers and subordinates and the bearing that performance has on the accomplishment of the mission, the meaning of integrity for an officer and gentleman. We have a chance to educate our people - we should not let these a--holes define US.

I watched Lanny on Hannity and when someone has to talk over the host or other guests it's because they don't want those other guests to be heard.Susan Estridge(sp) tried the same thing with the lawyer last week and didn't get away with it.The current spin is that only people who served on Kerry's boat can talk about his service. Once people get a chance to read the book I don't think that's going to fly.
