For future interviews the swiftboat vets need to emphasize that their primary reason for forming is to deny the atrocities allegations that Kerry levelled against them.

Recent interviews are portraying the swift boat vets as only being on the attack, rather than the defense. It is much harder for political hacks like Lanny Davis to attack you for defending yourself against Kerry's accusations because the burden of proof is on the accuser. You should demand that Kerry either provide proof to support his accusations or apologize for his accusations. You should emphasize how the accusations have caused you personal grief. You should also submit that if he does publically apologize for his accusations that you will disband your group. That is a fair request.

Also, to counter the "didn't really serve with John Kerry" idiocy be sure to bring that photo of all of the officers together and emphasize that Kerry himself used this photo for campaign purposes as examples of people that he served with.
