Come on guys buck it up. We can handle a little bit of fire. The self serving media knows the SBVFT story might bust the election wide open and are making an attempt to temper our story in the end truth will prevail. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.

Yes, we are dropping the ball and blowing opportunities a lot of times. The question I have is who is gonna "pick up the ball and run with it"?
Who is going to come up with ideas and action to make Swiftvets more effective?
And not just talk to each other or ***** on these forums?
Please see my post "Swift Vets are the Key to Victory" A list of ideas for action any of us can take where we live to help Swift Vets beat Kerry. Post your ideas for action and also post what you are going to DO in your town and inspire others to follow your lead!
Please also see my post "Answering Democrat ATTACKS" and add your ideas for how to answer the Kerry attacks. We are dropping the ball because our spokespeople have not thought out good answers for all the attack questions and rehearsed them. While the demo_rats have. They have put us on the defensive damnit. You can't win on defense!!
Finally if you see something wrong with Swiftvets or something missing, then take the initiative and start fixing it. Start a new thread on the problem that you see and keep at it until your idea is accomplished.

When I read Kerry's 1971 testimony, it is dreadful because it focuses so strongly on the negative behavior of a small fraction of the US forces in Vietnam. He omits strong backing of the vast majority of the great soldiers. If you'd emphasize that point, it would push me, an undecided voter, away from Kerry.
Attacking the basis for his medals doesn't work for me, because it makes me wonder `Why did the military award the medals at all?', which pushes me toward a distrust of the military. Edited by Moderator: Bush's service is not at issue here.
So I think focusing in a cool and rational way on Kerry's VVAW statements would sway me the best. I can certainly understand that it is easy to become very angry over what he said... but letting that anger out doesn't sway undecided voters like me. Emphasizing that he tainted the great majority of great soldiers, in a calm and cool way, works on me. |
