Can someone point me to a copy of the version as told by the SBVT or included in the Navy afteraction reports?

I've read somewhere that it was a multiple boat mission. That they were returning from the mission when the PCF3 boat hit a mine. That Kerry was on the other side of the river. That Rasumussen was actually on the PCF3 boat and was blown off of it, not the 94 boat. That some other members of the 3 boat were in the water as well. That other than the mine, there was no enemy fire involved at all. But I can't find that version. Any help would be
appreciated.

McQ...

I believe I've seen it referenced, but not sure.

But this presents an opportunity to suggest to all that you make use of the "search" feature for the forum. Also, we are trying to develop a "consolidation" topic where items of particular interest will be categorized with an appropriate descriptive and link for easy reference.

Work in progress....

I know it's going to be in the book. Wink

The cover letter sent with the supporting documentation for the television ads is at:

This may contain the incident you are asking about. Beginning at the "No Man Left Behind Myth"

That's it ... thanks.

BTW ... I'm a member of a blog called Q and 0. We've written quite extensively on the subject of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and Kerry. In fact, I was seeking this info to rebut Rasmann's version of the "No Man Left Behind" portion of the op/ed piece today in the WSJ.

If interested, my article is here:

We started writing about the SBVT in May after the press conference.

I'm a Vietnam vet, spent 28 years on both active duty and in the reserves. I'm very grateful to the SBVT for bringing this all out.

I've also been asked by Regnary Press to review the book "Unfit for Command" and am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
