|
|
During the Democratic presidential primaries. I distinctly remember Bill saying he was a good friend of John Kerrys on the O'Reilly Factor. I used to listen to him quite a bit. But when I heard that, I was kind of disgusted. That would explain his obvious bias to Kerry. I bought unfit for command and can't wait to get it in the mail. I can't believe that he won't look at these accusations more seriously. His credibility is down in the toilet.
Does anyone have access or can find the transcript where he said this? |

Paul,
I think I read a thread in here about that subject (I agree with you by the way). I'm usually "with" O'Reilly on most subjects, but he seems asleep at the wheel on this one.
One interesting theory is that O'Reilly was going softball on a presidential candidate in order to get an interview... then once on the show, he could go for the kill so to speak.
It's far-fetched, but pleasant to think about anyway.

Must be hibernating reading "Unfit For Command" and researching all the details for an eventually turn-around....Hopefully!
Also, I think he is replaying his interview with Michael Moore AGAIN tonight. While, it certainly was interesting the FIRST time, is it really necessary to air it for the THIRD time? Something that occurred what - at least 3 weeks ago? Personally, I am sick of seeing it. |

Bill is trying to get Kerry on his show. Everything he does is about that. |

Bill he go home , look at dictionary, the talking points tell him , its
only embellishment, gad he finds out that the root word is
EMBELLISH, and No. 2 there is "To add ornamental or FICTITIOUS
details, a fanciful account that embellishes the TRUTH.
and he is still in intensive care, with John Kerry and Jaun Williams
etal, seems Terry McCoff/a/lot did not tell them all. _________________ the strange mr aj |

IF that is the case, and IF he gets Kerry on, the million dollar question is does he go for the kill or play softball with his "pal"?
One makes him a hero, the other a mere opportunist.
We'll see.

I think you guys missed the point. He said he was good friends with Kerry. THIS was no ploy to get him on his show. If he did it would still be with kid gloves. |

I too became disgusted with O'Reilly's middle of the road view point on John Kerry he used the honorable service of both Kerry and Bush as reasons not to further reveiw the issues raised in Unfit for Command, he also uses the argument that this happended during the Vietnam War and many will have different recollections of what happended... overall O'Reilly doesn't want to touch this hot topic nor even sway to the side of the swift boat veterans.
I am also concerned about Senator McCains close alliance with John Kerry and Mc Cain condeming the swift boat veterans so strongly..let's not forget Kerry tried to recruit McCain as his VP. So even though McCain was a POW while Kerry was negotiating with Hanoi he defends Kerry with more vigor than even his Democratic allies. It will be interesting to learn why this close relationship exists, I have read McCain prevented a stronger policy by the US in seeking missing POWs and capitulated with Kerry to normalize relations with Vietnam. |

E-mail them. I have both O'Reilly and Senator McCain.
Oreilly@foxnews.com
I know there is a thread here with McCain's...and I informed O'Reilly would not watch nor listen to him until he apologized to the swiftvets and to quit spinning for Kerry's LIES!
Just keep the e-mails going out...it we keep e-mailing them they will have to take notice and listen.
I lost a all my respect for Sanator McCain and his statements. Just will never support him for anything. He is letting his bitterness from loosing to Bush come into play...how sad for him! _________________ Born to raise a little hell!
