Guys,

Thanks for the imput on the signs. I have to re-group and am developing two new signs. These will be two liners. My wife tells me that smaller print will not work and therefore they have to be brief. As I understand it, the first two lines are always visible above E. D.'s head. E. D. is very statuesque. Also by waving the signs I was upstaging E. D. and the camera pulled away ( a tip by a guy standing next to me). The Fox crew are good guys and I don't want to upset them.

Current planning is as follows:

Sign 1- Cambodia? Xmas?

Sign 2- Press MIA on Form 180

Plan on alternating the signs. Which is better first?

I think this will peak interest. However, if you have any suggestions let me know during the day tomorrow (I monitor from the office). It is about 9:00 pm est here (just got in from the city, I do have a day job) and I have a lot of work to do on the signs.

Thurs. appearance is scheduled for 8:00 am to 8:30 am to give you mid-westerners a chance to view.

Also working on a surprise guest appearance by JFK accompanied by two secret service men. Johnny will be giving Xmas greetings from Cambodia and saluting himself aboard. Keep your fingers crossed that I can pull this off.

I think the guys a Fox are quietly cooperating (no one has approached me to move on). So if you get a chance e-mail them and let them know you are enjoying the nut in the window.

If there are guys/gals in the NY tri-state area that want to assist, let me know. There are two other windows to cover.

Remember, if you saw the sign millions of others did too. What about someone covering ABC and NBC morning shows?

Hopeful,

I say go with sign two. Everyone by now knows about Xmas in Cambodia unless they have been living in a cave. However, we need to press the Standard Form 180. This will get people to ask what your sign means...and that means free advertising.

I agree Kerry needs to be pressed to sign the 180. Just simply saying

KERRY
SIGN 180

will get the message across to those who know and cause those who do not to ask

Hopeful! Yes, I saw you this morning (gosh I enjoyed that -- tenacious or what?) and agree with all your comments. As to the sign, I have no knowledge about how to best "get msgs out" so I will defer to others on that. I'm especially looking forward to the SKIT!! Holy cow!

I'm one of your Midwest viewers and as far as I'm concerned, whenever you are able to take the time to press onward on this mission is okay with me! The 7:30 EST was fine as that's 6:30 here and I also have a day job -- usually out the door at 7:30. HOWEVER -- it doesn't matter -- I'll catch most of that 1/2 hour slot. Your work is much appreciated and it is shared -- we're there with you! Hopeful -- you are impactful!

I don't think that talking about "Form 180" communicates to many people. To the people on this forum, yes -- but not the general public. For that matter most people today have forgotten or never new what MIA means.

You have to be committed to communicating in the most effective way, not holding onto "inside baseball" references that only the initiated Vets understand.

As far as the previous posts with all of the things about the "media". Personally, I would not use that sign outside Fox (at least they are coming around and investigating more). I'd love to see that outside any of the other stations though!

I have responded to this 180 thing before and before and I will do it again.

People do not have to know what 180 means.

They just have to know that Kerry is hiding something.

Media cover up is too BROAD. Lets talk about WHAT EXACTLY they are covering up. Lets give the people a simple little piece of raw red meat.

FORM 180 is a converstation starter.

Something that is too broad or takes 20 minutes to set up is too complicated for the "Swing Voter".

I am no moderator, but I am in charge of what I do here in East Texas. I just put together a flier on Microsoft Word and printed 200 copies. It was actually 100 copies, but you cut it in half and it makes 2. Tomorrow I am going to give this thing a test run. I have included my Cell number and email address for people to contact me if they are interested in helping me to raise money for the swifts. We shall see!

Polaris. Don't you know that 20% of the people you meet are from Pluto. I once met a guy who told me that he didn't read newspapers because if it wasn't on the 6 o'clock news, it wasn't important. There are a lot of people that don't track this stuff as closely as we do. That's why so many pols get away with their lies. People just do not inform themselves!

That is why Carvell, Davis, Begalla and Hurley can just get out there and say: Lies! Lies Lies!

Dwight: re your comment on MIA's. Is that pathetic or what????. My kids surely know who the MIAs are. Unfortunately, I supect your are right. It saddens me so much. And that is another reason to ensure that Johnny Boy never becomes the CinC.
