Fox News announced that it will be covering Kerry at the VFW at about 10:30 est.

This should be very interesting.

I sure hope so, but we also have to realize how the Kerry campaign can orchestrate things. Not EVERY Vietnam Vet or every Vet is against him. They are die hard liberals that would vote for him if he had been a draft dodger. He can round those types up, bus them in, orchestrate who is in the audience and who is not. Its all about spin.

BUT...IF he/they did do something like that (i.e., bus in "good" vets or screen audience) wouldn't locals make noise about THAT?

Surely, everyone there knows he's coming to the VFW...heck, if he came to ours it would shut the town down due to all the security, etc.

So, if it was "staged" or not open to all I would think some would be really peeved and telling the world....whether they and the media showed their clips/coverage or not, the truth would come out from the VFW. Right?

A huge win for us today. No standing ovations, no loud or sustained applause. It had to be a real downer for Kerry when compared to Pres. Bush`s wildly enthusiastic reception Monday.

I have to disagree. At best it was a minor victory. There should have been no applause at all. The heckling saved it from being a total loss, however, and the Fox audience comparison will help a lot.

Pres Bush received standing ovations from a much more enthusiastic crowd.The response to Kerry was tepid at best and a couple of times he paused for applause and there were none.Not a good day for Kerry.
