Larry Thurlow says in his August 19, 2004 letter:

"...in a new development, Kerry campaign officials are now finally acknowledging that while Kerry's boat left the scene, none of the other boats on the river ever left the damaged swift boat."

Also, John O'Neill says in his August 19, 2004 letter (in regards to the same incident):

"His campaign is now admitting that he fled and the rest stayed."

Where have Kerry campaign officials acknowledged this? I've looked around and I can't figure out what these guys are referring to. Thanks.

I believe it was Del Sandusky's press conference that John O'Neill was referring to.

I could be wrong, though.
