Judicial Watch Calls For Investigation Into Kerry’s Medals, Anti-War Actions

Quote:
(Washington, D.C.) – Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today filed a request with the U.S. Navy and the Defense Department for an investigation into the awards granted to Sen. John Kerry during his service with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. Judicial Watch also requested that military authorities investigate Kerry’s anti-war activities, including his meeting with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong delegations in Paris, while a member of the Naval Reserve... http://www.judicialwatch.org/3794.shtml

This stuff is reaching the Florida soup opera effect in the sense that i spend the whole day reading, looking, investigating, posting, etc. and never seem to get tired of doing it.

Does anybody else see Bush winning in a land slide?

Here is a copy of the first paragraph of the Request:

Quote:

Judicial Watch, Inc. (hereinafter “Judicial Watch”) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption. Judicial Watch, in the interests of the American public, hereby files this formal complaint and request for investigation, determination and final disposition of awards granted to Lieutenant (junior grade) John Forbes Kerry, U.S. Naval Reserve, (hereinafter “Senator Kerry”) under the provision of Paragraph 116 (Requirement for Honorable Service), SECNAV Instruction 1650.1G (Navy and Marine Corps Awards Manual) dated 7 January 2002.

While I applaud Judicial Watch for taking an active role I encourage them to include his war time crimes he had so boldly reported to the Congress. His victims from Vietnam deserve their day in court to testify against Kerry.

Great stuff. Let's hope a thorough investigation is conducted and Kerry has to respond under oath.

Come on people -- please check the threads for your subject may have already been posted. I'm getting tired of opening threads to discover it's already been covered in three other threads. You all can't be that lazy, can you?

What the Swifties are doing has nothing to do with politics. They are patriots. Patriots scream the truth because they love the country whereas, politicians scream lies because well they are politicians. For those of you that might not like the swifties point of view dont worry they will only appear when a disgraceful military person tries to portray themselves as something other.

While I do respect what Judicial Watch has done on a number of other cases (they're also going after Hillary Clinton for illegal fund-raising during her 2000 Senate campaign), I'm not sure that a lawsuit is going to have much effect. All Kerry would have to do is have the case assigned to a liberal judge, or bring out an army of lawyers (including Edwards) to bring all sorts of objections and appeals, so they can stall until after the election.

There could be another problem with Judicial Watch. It is right now run by Tom Fitten, but its founder, Jack Klayman, who retired in order to run for the Senate in Florida, is being sued by a pollster who ran a poll for Klayman but didn't get paid. In order to keep their own credibility intact, SBVT should disassociate itself from anything Judicial Watch does.

The complaint is headed to the DoD, CNO, Naval IG, and Naval Board of Medals...

cc: Sectys of the Navy and Defense.

I guess this could be sat on till the cows come home, eh?

BUT - the American public DOES have the right to know about this!

Let me see where I have those pesky newspaper sites listed ....
