I have seen some references to John Hurley Veterans for Kerry being a meber of VVAW. True or not..

I received this information from Wintersoldier.com

According to Brinkley in "Tour of Duty" John Hurley never joined the VVAW, though he was present for the Dewey Canyon III protests in April of 1971 and "agreed with most of the group's positions." Brinkley, of course, must always be taken with a gallon of salt. Hurley isn't mentioned as a VVAW member in our various other books on the topic.

Hurley claimed to have witnesses atrocities while with the Army's 69th Engineers, but his fellow veterans from that outfit have vigorously disputed this claim. Brinkley agreed to remove the word "atrocities" from the next edition, but there's no indication that he has followed through.

Was John Hurley:
1. Present in Congress when Kerry spoke before the Fulbright Committee?2. If so, was he in the film in the background?

Funny how for so many years Hurley and Kerry has run away from their Vietnam service, slandering all vets who served....Kerry in 1992 beged to not have Vietnam service a campaign issue....Now he and Hurley are embracing their Vietnam service, Kerry cannot even talk about his pets without mentioning VIETNAM!
