Is it not germane to speak of our current & past leaders to remind people of leadership so as they may form a better judgement upon the what if Kerry is president?

Podesta's not their best. And I agree that O'Neill did very well. It got to the point where a desperate Podesta was actually sitting there at attention seeming to say - hey, this is interesting. And Stephie concluded with a suggestion that - Kerry brought it on himself (which quite obviously, he did). Now, if there was a round-table discussion, I did not see that.

Podesta is a Clinton cronie and I am sure has been given marching orders by the Clintons to do the token appearances, yet sand bag it enough not to help Kerry. Noone on the Clinton side wants Kerry to win the presidency. They need to have Hillary ready to go come 2008.

I tend to agree. The Beast really wants to be the first woman POTUS.

Then we get to examine her history in detail......she better want the job bad cuz she is going to be grilled like a new york steak Laughing Wink

I do think Rice will be the first black woman on the ticket, but as vice president.

Communes?

I mooched a room from some drunkard buddies and their girlfriend for a year and a half before moving into my VW van in '73, two years after I got my very own DD214. We were too lazy to start a commune, unless you'd consider us an urban mini-commune. We cultivated beer cans.

Those days were a waste of life.

Speaking of commies: I've said before and I firmly believe that Senator Joseph McCarthy (House Unamerican Activities Committee) was absolutely spot on--his approach just stunk. Yes, there absolutely were burgeoning Communist influences in the entertainment (and broadcasting and education) industries. No doubt about it.

The fruit of that is what we live under today. We have leftist press and leftist universities turning out unbalanced leftist thinkers, for the most part, who no longer "think" in the classic sense. Verbal barfing, to them, passes as thinking. Schools today teach people what to think, not how to think. And they've been programming like that for generations.

Enter John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, the Hildebeest, and any of a zillion other leftists who prey on zoned-out non-thinkers wilfully conditioning themselves in front of the leftist-controlled tube.

That's the status quo--that's what we fight against. That's who we must convince.

Think about it: if you were the Soviets or the Chinese Communists would you really, really want to nuke (destroy) the world's breadbasket, its natural resources, its production facilities and it's vast farmlands? Would you rather do that and knowingly sustain crippling or fatal damage yourself? Or would you rather invest a generation or two in the easy infiltration of an amazingly free system with the goal of perverting it, turning the system and its people on themselves and destroying them from within? Which would you rather do?

Did you know that Roger Baldwin, founder of the ACLU, said of his organization that "communism is the goal?"

So, look what we've got today. Where does anyone think this state of affairs came from? Accident? I think not.

And John Kerry's place in it is no accident, either. Here we have a candidate who is the most liberal senator in history. He is also a shallow thinker. Great combination, and people are lined up from here to Peking to do his thinking for him. And he is leberal enough to accept it.
Accident? Uh-uh.

Careful orchestration, highly predictable results (our Constitution spells out our freedoms just as it also defines what our government can and cannot do), and unheard of freedoms to speak and to write whatever trash they choose led to unprecedented attacks by the ACLU and liberal enemies of the U.S., foreign and domestic. Michael Moore is a pristine example.

John Kerry is a willing pawn to actual thinkers. His danger to this nation cannot be overstated. He has betrayed real Americans by using, of all things, a pack of lies. He fed this pack of lies to a willing Congress before a willing Press.

The travesty of his lies about veterans is repeated today in his cheap and untrue labeling of the SwiftVets (and anyone else who questions him) as liars and pawns of a Republican scheme. Yet his very life states that the freedom of speech that he and other liberals use to destroy our rights clearly does not apply to those who would defend this nation.

This election is about judges and nothing less than judges. Liberal courts illegally usurping authority that clearly is not theirs are the primary weapon of Kerry types. Vacancies are already begging to be filled while more (and major) vacancies will occur in the near future. My observation is that anti-American liberal killers like John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, George Soros, Hillary Clinton, ad nauseum will do and are doing anything and everything conceivable to win this election so that they can stack courts for a final, lethal attack on our country. Not their country, I said our country and our freedom.

Kerry must be stopped. Fortunately, amidst all of this, God has blessed us with a unique opportunity. We are very near the edge of a thin line, but He has provided a blustering tin man on a string, a liar and a coward, a buffoon and a disgrace--He has provided that as our opposition. We can bury him.

Calm, researched letters to the editor in every single small town or big city newspaper can do big things. Repeated letters. One or two a week from every single one of us. You will be surprised how often concise, well-reasoned letters get published. I rarely fail to make print, and I'm just a regular guy.

Call in to talk shows. Make your own exposure. Bypass the bigoted leftist feature and editorial writers. Seize every grassroots opportunity you can muster. Kerry must be stopped, and stopped cold.

This is serious stuff, and we can do it, but we have to go beyond these pages and into the streets and homes of America.

In the words of someone greater than I, "Let's roll!"

To Silenthunter,

You have a very good way with words and hope to see many more written examples of your eloquent style.
