That's affirmative. Do a search as the Boston Globe. You'll find the articles there. _________________

Big Kahuna, I couldn't disagree with you more. I, and the several people who watched the debate with me, all got the impression that Odell was very calm and rational and answered every question put to him very completely and non-evasively. hurley on the other hand was aggitated, sometimes almost angry, evasive, and refused to give clear and concise answers. Demenor says a LOT, and hurley's was that of a person backed into a corner who didn't have any slick way out.
I especailly liked when Odell made it clear that the two SBVT that supported kerry in his 96 campaign were ONLY suporting him from the standpoint that he was not a war criminal as he had stated 15 years before, because they knew he wasn't, because he lied, and they knew they weren't. I also really liked when he pointed out so devestatingly that there was no way that kerry's report of the incident with the mined PCF was totally false, because there was NO WAY that there were 3.2 miles of fire on both banks. They ALL would have been slaughtered if that had been the case. ANd how the after action report means NOTHING since it was written based on kerrys own spot reports and those spot reports have been proven to be as phony as a $3 bill. I'd rather have the first hand accounts of the SBVs than any documentation contradicting kerry's accounting of things, because those documents could easily be dismissed as fake. You can't so easily dismiss the first hand testimony of dozens of Vets which have risen up to oppose kerry. The overwhelming majority of Vets who served with kerry oppose him, as well as his entire surviving chain of command. That's a fact, and hurley had NO response to any of that. He did horribly. |

I don't know -- I sure feel like they made more points in that segment than we did. He was calm -- yes. However, I don't think he did a well enough job convincing those who are sitting on the fence.
You can't change the opinions of those of us who know Frenchie is a traitor and a coward; and you can't change the opinions of those who will vote for "Anyone But Bush", (even Osama) -- but we have to do a better job with those (especially the confused vets) who could go one way or another. _________________ Top 10 Weasels.com is where Kerry is Weasel #1 |

I don't know Kahuna, you're actually the first person I've seen who thinks that hurley did better than Odell on that interview. Odell completely answered every question put to him and didn't hedge on any of them. hurley barely answered anything, nothing completely and fully. And he didn't keep any measure of real composure. |
