Question: If Kerry were elected... what do you think he would do with Iraq? He poisoned people against Vietnam. I could see him taking the soldiers out and letting Iraq fail, and then blaming the previous administration for it. Do you think this is consistent with his character?
I think undecided or anti-bush voters (not Democrat) should seriously ask themselves with what they know about his character and history, how much worse can it get if he was in power? This should scare the pants off of you. I know some people who will vote for Kerry, even if he was a Communist Sympathizer and everything they say is true about him. There main excuse is how much worse can it get? The answer is simple. Much worse.
My personal biggest problem with Bush is his stance on outsourcing. If he changed his hardline acceptance of this, I know he would pick up a ton more votes. I will vote for him anyways, as only a couple of issues that I disagree with are not enough for me to vote for Kerry.
I also think part of the problem is that many people for so long have been talking smack about Bush, calling him a liar, and so forth and pride is a reason that prevents them from digging or looking deeper.
Finally, another note... TV, Newspapers, and many major internet sites, post slanted headlines all the time against Bush, when often the article (if read) indicates a totally different meaning. As many uninformed people do... they just read the headline without reading the meat of the articles. This is part of the mainstream presses tactics.
I believe the truth is getting out there, albeit still slowly. I commend everyone on this forum for their input and desire. I can only encourage those in states that really matter to campaign against Kerry, by buying Unfit for Command and giving copies to friends to read (after you read it yourself), to study all the issues, and be prepared for the fabrications the Kerry wing will dream up. I am doing this in a state (California), even though the likelihood of this making any difference here is very small. But if everyone does this in the close swing states, we will have scored a big victory. |

Paul,
I'm in CA with you - although it appears to be an uphill battle here, I continue to talk down the Kerry talking points (and will continue to do so).
We are privledged to be witness to, and part of, something very spectacular.
I plan on serving a huge helping of crow to many of my liberal friends who cannot be swayed by ANY argument, let alone the facts.
