I think a true documentary would be nice to make if we knew any non-liberal documentarians in this group. I bet it would be wildly successful right now.

Actually, considering the success of the unfit for command book..... Why not make a documentary based specifically on it? It already has a straightforward outline. It would be a very successful movie. People who go see it because of the controversy. Democrats would make it more controversial, and then it would be more successful.

However, I personally don't see the controversy as I believe the swift boat vets and their consistency. The movie could also point at the unwillingness of Kerry to sign the 180 form. This would be an excellent "rebuttal" to Michael Moores movie and DVD that is coming out. I will invite friends to see it and probably pay for their tickets.

I would donate as well. If this was a sticky, then we could potentially fund it from just that. How many of you who are reading this thread would also donate to a documentary on the book, with additional notes that counter the current democratic attacks (that can be found in this forum)??

The problem is that a new "mind set" is emerging, one of forced neutrality. I see self-proclaimed "independants" do this over and over again, and this mind set is beginning to become the major voice on Fox News. (as opposed to a pure Liberal mind set on almost all of the other news sources) In this mind set you take both sides of an argument and find ways in which to pretend both are equal. Thus we have all these journalists claiming that both Kerry and the SwiftVets have made false statement, yet they cannot give any solid evidence of a false statement by the SwiftVets, and they ignore the many glaringly false statements by Kerry as his spokespeople.

Any attempt at a documentary would more than likely come from this mind set, ans the Truth would become a sacrifice made to the god of "balance" and "neutrality".

I also think it may be a good idea to have all the swifties add there commentary, like a documentary of the facts, and dates and times, leaving no door open for argument from Kerry. Of course if there are willing.

I think footage could include:

1) Kerry's picture in Communist Vietnam with commentary about it's position. Be fair and talk about when this picture was taken, but also about it's significance about where it is.

2) Cover of Kerry's book. The New Soldier and it's upside down flag.

3) Personal testimonies and interviews from many swift boats veterans.

4) Many of the resulting democratic smear campaign against the vets without answering their charges, can include newspapers, clips from tv, etc. Success of message getting out there despite the ruses.

5) Tons of contradictory Quotes and statements from Kerry.

6) Interviews with Gridleys for truth veterans.

7) Articles that show Kerry admitting to self-inflicted first purple heart.

Cool

That political cartoon someone posted in a different thread that shows Kerry's hypocrisy.

9) Video of Kerry admitting to being a war criminal.

10) Shot of the simple filled out 180 form that all Kerry needs to do is sign.

Please post here for other ideas for footage for a documentary.
I think it will be a necessity to make this.

It could be released free online or only at the movies.

The visuals really hit home with people and people who don't spend the time to read will go to watch this. SBVT supporters will invite many people and the press will attack the truth and the truth will win.

Another one to talk about in the movie would be to show the article from the Boston Globe that shows the media bias...
