... But what is the solution for Kerry? I'm sure his people are racking their brains now. But they should have thought this through earlier, back when they were so sure that if the candidate stood up at the convention as a war hero that he would be greeted with candy and flowers. They convinced each other that what they wanted to believe was true, and, as a consequence they never had a plan for how to deal with the attacks that they should have known were there.

Sheesh! All Kerry had to do was ask anyone who posts here!

They all read "Tour of Duty" and believed it and Kerry without question. I also think they believed they had sufficiently cut the legs out from under President Bush starting with Cynthia McKinney's allegations that "Bush knew" about 9/11 ahead of time, to not reporting any of the WMDs and programs found in Iraq, "Bush said an attack from Iraq was immiment" when, in fact, he said "we could not afford to wait until an attack was imminent," to Bush was AWOL and was only a Air National Guard even if he wasn't AWOL, and to Moore's propaganda hit piece (which Kerry and other Democrats continually reference). Therefore, they thought Kerry would look like a "war hero" no matter what.

In all honesty, I think that Kerry and Company - and most of the "talking head" media types - don't understand even now what this is all about. They seem genuinely surprised that any of this really matters after 30 years and I think they actually (still) believe this has to be a Republican plot to smear the Democratic candidate. These people did not have the type of Vietnam experience (if they had one at all) that left them feeling betrayed and frustrated. For them, it is over and done with - and maybe even they feel like they won. I don't think they even began to realize how many millions of us there are out here who damn sure do remember and who damn sure are not about to forgive - at least not someone like Kerry. I mean, if they had even the slightest clue, they simply would have dodged the Vietnam issue instead of wrapping Kerry up in the flag. That's what got me started. If Kerry had simply ignored the whole thing, I would never have gotten into this anti-Kerry mode. But when he traitorous SOB made himself out to be the great hero "reporting for duty" - that did it! I think there are a few million like me and I think Kerry and the Dems are going to regret their campaign decisions.

I think the solution is for him to step down as a candidate for POTUS. That's strong medicine, especially for a pompous ass like John Kerry.

I suggest the "Frogosphere". It has a certain je ne sais quoi... that just says "Oh, So Very Kerry!"
