I mentioned on another thread that although I decided long ago not to vote for Kerry. What this episode has shown me is John Kerry's lack of Presidential temperament.Contrast Kerry's response to that of George W. Bush or Bill Clinton both of whom have had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at them yet still remained presidential and cool underfire.Even Geraldine Farraro when running for Vice President sat for a news conference when questions were raised about her finances. She was confident when answering questions and cool underfire. In contrast Kerry's first instinct is to lie or lash out or whine to President Bush or call his lawyers to try to silence his foes. Rather then face up to the charges that are being made against him.If Kerry is unable to handle the Swift Boat Vetrans for Truth how's he going to handle Iran, North Korea or the war on terror? I thought that Kerry's behavior and lack of temperament would not be lost on undecided voters. |

Because we never formally declared war, so legally, he couldn't be charged giving "aid or comfort" to an enemy. I could be misreading the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
Don't worry though, he'll get his comeuppance for what he has done.[/list] |
Ahh... Thanks for that.
I agree even though he may not be legally guilty of doing it, surely the issue will be brought out and the American people will convict him. _________________ www.KerryLied.com -Vietnam Vets For Truth

And Kerry isn't exactly a General Grant or a General Lee. |

Quote: | But as it is, IMHO, the SBVfT are competely right and truthful in their accusations against Kerry. Kerry indeed is a traitorous piece of garbage who will stab his own military brothers in the back if he thinks it will further his political career. |
This reminds me of the old saying (from memory): "Be careful who you step on on your way to the top, because they will all be kicking you on your way down."
Seems rather apropos in light of the Swiftboat Vets and the rest of the Vietnam vets Kerry has disparaged over the years to further his career. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |
